Orion, you are on PS4. Have you gone into practice mode?

Not the practice arena where it's 1-1 with the keeper but the one you get to through a menu there when you hit back or select (on CG fifa). You can practice ck's fk's pk's or setup a match just against the cpu keeper or any combo of 11 v whatever count cpu players.

LOL. They actually tell you the name of the scorer this year underneath the game score.

Heh. He's not actually IN those places at the same time.

Tyler will say something like "We go over to Alan McInally, with an update from Anfield."

The update is from Anfield, but it can be assumed that McInally is in a studio somewhere, watching all the games

I've downloaded it from the PSN store after it preloaded (worked seemlessly) and I love this game. It's way better than last year on next gen. Looks really great as well. Fifa did their thing.

I thought about it that way too. Lol.

Is anyone else getting a huge amount of lag? Had to mutual quit two games just now, was really lagging. Even the menus were lagging. I'm on PS4

Haha!

Anybody else having trouble scoring from outside the box? Only scored one goal from outside the box yet in like 10 matches... With Giroud of all people. I'm a full manual player by the way.

15 is a lot of fun if you like highlight-reel football and near-constant end-to-end action, but the AI and the defending are big issues for me, and though visually 15 is more realistic, gameplay seems to have regressed in the realism department.

The backline defensive AI - one of, if not the, biggest issues in 14 - has been improved, but it's still really, really easy to create breakaways, and one-on-ones with the keeper (I'm playing on World Class atm). This is only exacerbated by the improvements to dribbling - playing with Dortmund and Kagawa is ripping people to shreds like he's Messi.

Then the entire defensive system is a mess, and yet the funny thing is it's not all that hard to defend against the CPU because a) the CPU attacking AI still makes bone-headed decisions and b) EA have added a massive amount of error to CPU shot accuracy. So while one-on-one defending is worse than in 14, it's actually easier to keep clean sheets than before.

I'm also really not a fan of these super-skinny player models, while the lack of effort that went into CM this year is a big letdown.

Maybe tomorrow will be different for me but today's experience has not left a good taste in my mouth with FIFA 15.

Fun factor is off the charts to me.....game is great. I'm sure sliders will fix your issues and while I think eventually I will tighten it up I'm having a great time with it right out of the box.

What the heck?????? Where is the practice mode??????

Ea....don't do this to me.

Yeah, I'm still wondering about practice mode as well. Has anyone been able to find it?

Only a few games in and I'm very impressed. I'm seeing plenty of fouls and cards and you can actually tackle instead of sliding across the grass for 90 minutes. Injuries are more frequent as well so far. The AI is even shooting from distance which I was begging for. Previous games they would never shoot! I was playing against Stoke and Diouf rifled a shot over the bar from 30 yards and pulled up lame and had to be replaced.

lol Diouf pulled up lame after a shot.

the struggle is real

Can anyone confirm this?...I have noticed that my individual instructions aren't being carried over to the actual games in online season mode. My lineups are but the instructions aren't. This is very frustrating and is throwing me off. Thank you

Have a question here. I'm looking just to play an online friendly by selecting any team against another person...but I can't find it...I see "online friendlies", but it's telling me to add friends to play against them. Where is just a regular head to head match with any team?

Game is pretty good but not much of an improvement over 14 (the PS4 version). Not really looking into messing with any sliders, but if you play Full Manual and at World Class/Legendary difficulty, bumping the Pass Error slider for the CPU is a must unless you want to watch a ping pong match. Even with the slider at 70, you still see some ridiculous sequences of perfect one touch combinations with ridiculous back heel passes into the box by the CPU with mid tier clubs. Maybe even the First Touch Error slider should be considered into this too as they seem have a clear edge over the Human player when receiving passes. Otherwise, game plays solidly, although I would still like to see more fouls. Haven't seen too many in 30 minute matches, but at least now the CPU does get called for them and carded if they are obvious.

Yeah, based on however long you have the halves set to.

Although this year, when the ball goes out of play, instead of stopping, the clock ticks at real time.

The commentary in this game is fantastic.

Don't play NBA games, so I can't definitively say that it's the best commentary in all the sports games, but I'd be shocked if the commentary in NBA games was better, because I think Tyler and Smith are just great in this game.

I think they really pull off the conversational style. At one point, Martin Tyler asks Alan: "So, Alan. Spurs, your thoughts?" and he goes: "Well... How much time have you got?"

Even going back to things they were talking about, if they get interrupted. Feels very natural.

I've only had a chance to play 4 games so far but the game feels great from an attacking standpoint. Love some of the new one and two touch pass animations and errant passes feel much more realistic (I play assisted). I've only scored one goal on a header so those seem to have been toned down drastically.

The CPU seems more competent in attack and actually look to pass to build up as opposed to just dribbling in circles. I've even had the CPU attempt a few shots from distance.

Defending unfortunately feels even worse than Fifa 14 which is an amazing accomplishment. I play world class and if I'm not constantly swarming the ball it's a virtual certainly the CPU is getting a quality shot. Containing the player with ball seems ineffective as none of my AI teammates mark any runners.

The back four seem completely disorganized and midfield support is nonexistent. AI controlled players completely ignore players and the ball and allow the CPU to simply dribble or pass the ball to the spot for an easy look almost every possession.

I also feel like I lose 9 out of every 10 headers off goal kicks which is extremely annoying.
