If the game ends up being good, people will buy it whether it's released October 7th or October 28th. If the game isn't very good, it won't sell very well. It's really simple as that, and if people aren't patient enough to wait three weeks, that's their own problem. LOL. The NBA season doesn't even start until the week of the 28th.

I just keep reading all these negative opinions from people who haven't played this year's game. Sure, the delay sucks. But we don't know if the game is great or terrible, and I'm plenty patient enough to wait to see for myself. If it sucks, I'll just get 2K. But until I play it for myself, EA hasn't done anything wrong with this year's game as far as I'm concerned.

I don't like how it feels like Live 10. It feels somewhat outdated.

How can a game look that good up close and then like a computer game from 1999 at the broadcast camera? Nothing looks smooth to me. I was really getting excited about this game too, but it looks like another pass from me.

Good catch. Maybe that hitch is from the collision, which I guess is good. I had to slow the video to .25 speed to see the bounce.

I find it odd that this game got delayed to October 28th, which is the same day that 2k's WWE 2k15 game is coming out. So in a weird way they're still competing with a 2k sports game. Back on topic, this game looks great to me and I cant wait to play it!

Take Two should buy the Nba Live division and have EAs developers work on shoes, accessories, and stadiums. Leave 2K for animations and graphics. I don't understand how you guys can defend this company after they slap you in the face year after year...

My guess is that I think EA is trying to give Live 15 it's own day and not go toe to toe with 2k on the 7th. Let 2k come out on the 7th and get its due and then 3 weeks later on the eve of the NBA season release Live and hope that gives it a little boost and its own spot light.

Yeah based on what I'm seeing this delay is less about being ready and more about either making it "prefect"(using the word super loosely) or it's a marketing ploy to separate the game from the other game.

I'm wondering if EA can patch in a online team play mode for Live 15, just like they are going to do for NHL 15?

I liked what I saw, the improvement over Live 14 is amazing...

When Harden loosed his man (in the third video) I though, wow! that's like the real world, hehe... I mean It would be nice if bad defenders (or not as good and intense as others when playing defense) make more mistakes of this kind than the better defenders in the NBA.

Cheers!

Was there mention of roster edits or sharing?

the gameplay cgrphics wise looks decent, what sucks is that the players move with an nba jam like quality

After watching it a couple more times the game does have fundamentals down for the most part..

-Defense front the post, not letting their man get position (Like the different swim moves I saw)
-I like the on-court interaction..You can hear players talking smack, and the grunts
-Like the contested shot by Ariza..It looked realistic and the interaction on the rim looked good
-Passing looks more fluid and responsive
-Graphics..I think it's similar to 2K..Players look great in replays, but you can't really tell from broadcast
-Dribbling looks more fluid
-Footplanting..Lebron plants his feet and squares up in the triple threat position before he drives
-The off-ball movement can be more active..But I like the cuts on the baseline to get open

-Needs better help defense..When Lebron drives, Dwight Howard leaves the lane for Love? He should have stayed.
-Still looks difficult to stay with your man when they're driving.

I wish they showed us some more contact at the rim, and even some blocked layups/dunks. Would love to see mid-air contested shots in more detail. I hope they show more videos about this aspect, including different scenarios.

I'm sure you'll see plenty of it. The rag doll physics in the paint is a big feature. Pretty cool stuff.

Sounds good, but it would take some very responsive man/team defense to 'activate' these scenarios. I hope this is the case.
