game does not look bad, not liking this push back, dislike that, and most likely be grabbing 2k, it would be a smart move to drop price to $30, because it is going to be difficult to market a game in its position and the rave of 2k already. really missed on a big opportunity, ill just wait til live is $10-15 before i purchase again

Again, wow.

Some good stuff in theses short gameplay videos though.

I got to give it to the team the game looks incredibly better than 2014 that being said im kinda disappointed about the delay because i was counting down the days to release, hopefully we get an early demo from ea or at least consistent news from them to keep us busy until the 28th

It does remind me of Live 10, with updated graphics and other things. Seems like they pulled a 2k6, when they went from the xbox to the xbox 360, when they 2k, just ported over the game, but with updated player models.

I hope they incorporate these touch passes . Couldn't replicate this in either BBall game. Either the controls were unresponsive and slow , or the A.I responded as if it was a basic pass with insane coverage.

Fundamentals , responsiveness , and control can go a long way

Well, they've been touting better control and responsiveness, so hopefully that translates to the passing game as well. Definitely agree with touch passes. It's impossible to swing the ball around the perimeter in current games.

Only problem with that statement is that its NBA Live we are talking about. They took off years only to produce what is known as Live '14. And that didn't work out too well.

Now you have faith that 3 weeks is going to do wonders? We'll see. I'm rooting for them, but my patience is wearing thin. I keep wanting them to do well, and it seems like they purposely trying to mess with me lol.

I'm satisfied with 2K, but I wanted to play Live for the online play, and 2K for the MYLeague/MyGM stuff. That was my big plan for the year!

I'll say this. It's not going to be garbage and I think it will be fun. Just don't know how much fun.

Not saying that three weeks will make a big difference, but this argument is a bit unfounded. They had different teams working for those three years, all going in different directions with the game, and working on different systems. At this point it's just a wait and see situation with Live 15.

I thought the vids looked very good. Animations looks smoother, graphics were very well done (I especially liked the uniforms, probably the best uniform models I've ever seen in a basketball game). There was also some exceptional foot-planting being utilized without all the wonky transition animations that used to proceed them in previous iterations. I look forward to seeing more extensive clips to better gauge the overall flow of the gameplay.

If you can't call things like you see them in a respectful manner than that's on you. I get it you don't agree, but to me if you can't see where calling another persons points as dumb is lacking in respect then there's really no point continuing this discussion with you.

For the record I'm not trying to put people in boxes. It's just that developers aren't shipping games with an ability to be as SIM as they say they want the games to be. If I can have a game that are using all the technology available to make the game as sim as possible minus the sliders that IMO should be the direction. If we can have both great, but it doesn't appear that game designers can or want to give us both. So if I have to choose I'm taking the game built to be as SIM as possible over a game that require a good bit of effort just to get it relatively close to SIM style and stats.

Bottom line is you should be able to play a game however you want to play it and I can't fathom how having options to customize your experience is a bad thing.

Every game I've played with sliders I came away feeling like I didn't get the kind of SIM experience promised at the expense of sliders. I'll be ok with sliders the 1st time I play a football or basketball game and come away feeling like I didn't sacrifice a polished and tuned SIM game for sliders.

I don't think he's just talking about Sports games, but games in general.

He still dribbles even with the contact. You can see it hit below his knee. Granted there's a travel before he starts dribbling at all, but that's another argument lol.

He even brushes Waiters off as he goes by ...

Yeah you're right I think he is. I think sports games are on a different level because they are forced to produce a game yearly. Other titles can have the time to effectively give gamers both effective play out of the box and sliders to customize. I don't think sports titles can do both.

Again I don't have a problem with customization or sliders. I have a problem with the fact that I believe developers don't or can't deliver on both.

Honestly, the animations don't look half bad. There are rough gamey parts that have a Live look and I'm not seeing any actual play behind pump fake dunks, but there's a lot there that looks usable. There might actually be enough for a pretty good game next year.
