i'm enjoying the demo quite a bit...however

Iwamura just hit one to Werth in right...the ball hit him...fell to the ground and i was unable to pick it up..leading to an inside the park home run...hopefully this is ironed out in the retail version

otherwise as i said i'm enjoying the demo quite a bit..lots of different hits i must say which is very nice

For those having problems with the controls just gp view the screen shots that steve put up a wile ago. It explains the controls and after you learn them they really make sense.

I am the opposite, I love bringing it up manually. There is a lot more information (such has batting average by zone and batting average on balls in play) immediately accessible.

Nice, I'll download this when I come back from some business today. Too bad you have to use the swing stick

Keep the impressions going and i'll give mine this evening.

I guess the best question to ask is if you have a PS3, then there still is no reason to get this game, is there?

The gameplay is the best available in my opinion based on the demo's, I HIT A FOUL BALL INTO MY DUGOUT AND 2 PLAYERS DUCKED OUT THE WAY THAT WERE SITTING ON THE BENCH!!
That OBVIOUSLY isn't possible in one dev cycle, so it OBVIOUSLY wasn't made from scratch...

And that isn't gameplay, that's presentation...

That was going to be my next question. Are they still trying to make you use the swing stick and pitch with the stick? If so, is there a classic configuration that lets you use buttons and the standard behind the catcher view?

Wow,the game started overcast and ended sunny!!

In the demo, yes. But there are "classic" style controls in the full version.

the swing stick and pitching is 1000x better and this is coming from someone who hates swing stick and analog control pitching. there is no option to switch in the demo

Few questions

1. Can you get around the AL swinging at everything
2. How's the progressive lighting??
3. For SD owners, How's the text?

The demo was my first time playing a sports game on the 360, first time playing ANY 2k series baseball game and there is nothing challenging about it...

It really has a nba 2k9 feel to it. The hit variety is very well done. I tried going the other way for a full inning and saw a nice mix. I also pitched inside for an inning and I saw the comp hit variety good also. Still getting a feel for throw meters, Like putting alittle extra on throws etc.. havent really noticed that much of a diff. Im working on holding left trigger for outfielders to stop that crow hop animation, overall Im going to keep testing but looks damn good from my end...
