In the demo, yes. But there are "classic" style controls in the full version.

the swing stick and pitching is 1000x better and this is coming from someone who hates swing stick and analog control pitching. there is no option to switch in the demo

played about 5 games now. Still really enjoying it. The batting is a bit arcadish and easy but i'm assuming it's because of the demo difficulty. I'm sure i'll find things wrong with it, but 2k really did work here and came through. This being the only option on the 360 and not having a good baseball game to playfor the past couple years, i'm pleased. This game rivals anything on the market.

1. Can you get around the AL swinging at everything
2. How's the progressive lighting??
3. For SD owners, How's the text?

The demo was my first time playing a sports game on the 360, first time playing ANY 2k series baseball game and there is nothing challenging about it...

1. yes throw good pitches
2. very cool
3. I sent my hd setup back for swap because it fried, and should be getting it back at release time. I'm playing on standard def and this game looks great in standard def. Best looking game ive seen in sd. all the text is fine and it looks really sharp and the graphics are excellent.

Thanks KGin. One more thing, How are the replays?? Do they show replays of Homeruns or great defensive plays the second after there done, or is it just showed at the end of an inning.
