I think this game is very good. I lost my first game on a pic late in the game returned for a TD by Cardinals. It was my fault on a pss in the flat. Passes seem slower though and i wasn't able to get a running game going in my first game but im sure i will. I was playing on all star. back at it now!

I noticed some suction blocking.

Just one question: will the demo be available for download off PSN even if we don't have a code?

well I noly played the one minute demo, and in that span the only problem I could come up with is the user pass rush (playing on all pro), other then that its great.

One word. WOW!

This game is beast. The game speed, the running, the accurate QB play, the blitzing. Everything I had a problem with has been addressed.

I still see quite a bit of those psychic DBs and lack of head tracking. It also looks bad when a receiver never looks for the ball when making that over the shoulder catch.

Is this the new camera angle or standard?

But even a great DE only gets 1 sack a game. 16 sacks is usually good for Top 5 in the league. And that DE rushes the QB 30 times a game. Even though the DE may be a lot better than the tackle across from him, you can't expect to dominate on every other play. They can still get pressure and be disruptive but I think people expect too much on a play by play basis sometimes.

I'm in love.

I do like the wr catching animations. Seems like they use their body to shield the defender.

I only had the opportunity to play 3 quick quarters since I had to rush to work, so I don't really have gameplay impressions.

But I really just have to say, that game is absolutely beautiful. Best looking sports game I've seen on 360, and I am so looking forward to just getting to spend more time with it.

I know there are people that are just fantastic on the sticks (stick jockeys) but the higher levels should have every bit as much to do with play calling, setting up favorable match ups/mismatches, reading coverages, etc. Not well we gotta make it harder so let's have a 68 rated offensive lineman stone wall Reggie White every play.

I agree some people look for unreasonable amounts of pressures/sacks but, I want to know that when I play as or against premier players that they play as they would IRL regardless of whether or not I'm controlling them.
This is what I'm sayin. Overall the gameplay seems better. All Madden is really wacky when it comes to difficulty though. Just because it's on highest difficulty, doesn't mean my team should be watered down, and the cpu super human. It's not skill based at all, and that's disappointing to me. It's not challenging and just plain cheap. It's very annoying.

I guess I'm in the minority in the graphics dept too.. I'm just not that impressed. I'll rent before I buy this one.

Don't know if anyone has noticed but making the pause screen a screen shot is very nice. I paused after a sack during a celebration and two players are bumping backs in a still shot. The smoke from their breath is still going and the crowd is still jumping up and down in the background.

Maybe cause it's new but the running animations don't seem to be too bad.

Exactly...A great DE doesn't get by even an average lineman every single snap. What makes a great DE great is the fact that he is capable of beating his man for a sack once or twice a game. And getting past your blocker is just part of the equation, you also need to be able to chase down the QB before he releases it. Getting a sack is hard to do...that's what makes double-digit sack seasons such an impressive stat.

By Bootzilla's theory, DEs should be routinely getting 30+ sacks a season.
