KONAMI REVEALS PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2015
FULL LIST OF CLUB AND NATIONAL LICENSES, DAY ONE UPDATE

World’s greatest club competitions bolster PES 2015 license rosters;
Day one update adds roster updates, new kits, shoes and enhanced faces

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has revealed the full list of club and national licenses that will feature in the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer®2015 (“PES 2015”) title – including second-tier teams for the first time and all Brazilian top-flight teams. The publisher also revealed the content of a comprehensive day one update file that adds key new elements to the game.

The cornerstone of PES 2015’s licensed content remains the world’s greatest club competitions - which are exclusive to the series. The game features dedicated modes featuring iconography and branding for Europe’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions, while the South American Copa Libertadores returns alongside the new Copa Sudamericana tournament. Asia Champions League is featured once again, rounding off a stellar list of club competitions only available in PES. Each of these licenses represents club football at its highest level, perfectly synchronizing with PES 2015’s ‘The Pitch Is Ours’ mantra, where the game’s development has focused on ensuring the gameplay mimics the ebb and flow of real matches.

PES 2015 also introduces second-tier teams for the first time, with Spanish Liga Adelante represented in its entirety, as is the French Ligue 2. The team rosters have also been extended to English and Italian second-tier teams, albeit not in licensed form but with real players. These supplement the full Dutch Eredivisie, French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga and Italian top-flight leagues, which are long-standing PES inclusions. The cream of European club sides are also licensed, and include pack star Mario Götze’s Bayern Munich; Portuguese giants FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting SP; and the likes of Anderlecht, Manchester United, Zenit St Petersberg, CSKA Moscow and Galatasaray.

The phenomenal growth of the South American leagues is also well represented, with KONAMI securing the full Argentine Primera Division and 21 Brazilian club teams with official kits.

KONAMI has also prepared a day one download for PES 2015, which will ensure that 93 new kits will appear authentically in the game, while eight (8) more licensed teams have been added including Sparta Praha, FK Partisan, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Additionally, the Brazil league will have six of its teams (Santos, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Vitoria, Criciuma, and Chapecoense) updated to include an additional 109 of the athlete’s real names. An additional digital download will be available in December that will add 11 of the athlete’s real names to the roster for Flamengo; the December update will also include yet more teams in other leagues and bolster the stadia roster for the current generation of gaming systems. The day one download will reflect all transfers and loans, and new boots from Puma and Nike will be added. Continuing KONAMI’s dedication to ensure the stars resemble and act like their real life counterparts, the day one update will include over 80 player feature updates as well.

PES 2015 is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP $59.99, and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP of $39.99. The PC (digital download version) will be available from November 13 for an SRP of $39.99, coinciding with the global Steam launch of the game.

I´ve been testing it but I need to play professional to find the game fairly balanced.
I've been playing on Superstar, although Top player is still pretty solid.

I'm definitely not brave enough to play 0 bars passing on anything above professional, but I will say less is definitely more with regards to pass assistance. Anything over 1 bar of assistance, and passes are too often "assisted" to wrong teammates.

I feel like direction is 90% of what the game uses to decide who you're trying to pass to. So, even if you put a tiny bit of power on a pass, if your aim is even slightly off target, your pass will be blasted 50 yards to a guy who the game thinks you meant to pass to. So frustrating.

Also, as awesome as the gameplay is this year, I kind of wish adjusting tactics and strategy was a little more straight forward in the middle of matches. In the pre-match gameplan menu there is a "simple setting" option for tactics, which lets you choose from like 10 tactics (long ball, all out defense, etc), but you can't change to one of those in mid match.

Instead we have to manually change offense style + build up + offense area etc in the gameplan menu. They could at least give us an attack level setting like in FIFA, and previous PES games.

Yep, maybe because they don´t even have this feature at all in the game. Yesterday playing against Norway, started loosing but soon managed to get 2 goals (is it me or manual shooting is somehow to easy?). Thing is, Norway kept the possession style through all the match. Loosing and keeping possession like defending the result is extremely unrealistic and even frustrating.

I know we have to mess with the team´s tactics in edit mode, to make them more realistic, but do I really care? No. Frankly, the game should have been released with all tactics corrected. I don´t think I´ll even bother correcting them because:
1 - there´s always the risk of some patch erasing all my work.
2 - CPU doesn´t seem to change tactics acording to the situation. they might play Attacking or defensive, but there´s no space for a third tactic, like really pushing up looking for the equalizer in the last minutes of a match.

As far as strategy goes, when I first checked mine, fluid formation was off.

So after turning it on and seeing how much better my team played...

Is it default off for all CPU teams? If that is the case it would explain the CPU never shifting tactics.

At the same time, I have seen the CPU play keep away with the ball when they have the lead. So there is some logic in place.

I do completely agree with dubcity, where are the simple changes?

When the CPU was playing keep away I wanted to change my tactics to "go get the damn ball" I saw no way to instruct this. It was already set to pressure...

One other thing, when I have the ball the cpu man marks everyone very closely, if I pass it to another player a cpu defender is on me instantly.

When the CPU has the ball my players are marking them very loosely, like 4-5 feet away from everyone if not 10 feet away.

The close proximity for the CPU defending makes it much easier for them to win tackles.

Meanwhile when I am stood farther away I have to select that player and then manually move him closer to the ball handler.

FIFA has this issue too and I hate this "one way it works for the cpu one way it works for the human" crap, but I feel like in the PES tactics I may be able to fix this.

I believe it is default off for CPU teams but I have to check. I does stink that you can't choose to start pressing a team on the fly weird that they had it other games for there series but took it out here. You can only, from my knowledge, play the offside trap on the fly and adjust your D-Line to press high or drop deep by using the D-Pad.

Any who, I find fluid formation to be a great feature that lets the teams play even closer to their real life counterpart. However I do just feel like Konami dropped the ball a little on game logic which is something they did really well in the past iterations. Example would be when you are down 3-1 and I score that goal to bring me 1 goal down. I don't want to see my player celebrating, he needs to be grabbing the ball out of the net and returning it to the middle of the pitch. Also only utilizing two formation types is a miss, especially when they should have had formations for every type of scenario like they did in the past. One for when the game is tied, in the lead, or behind.

Still with all of its problems it is still a great game, probably one of most enjoyable footy games from a gameplay standpoint but I really hope they get some one these annoyances fixed soon.

Ok I think I figured out what made the cpu pressure me so early.

Frontline Pressure setting. Forechecking sort of.

Just read about it today and need to check Ludogorets to see if it is on for them.

You should check their positioning while defending also. If you choose to press high but then position your players deep in the defensive tactic, they will always wait for the CPU. I find the only way to play against deep possession teams is making a defensive tactic with my players higher in the pitch, almost with no diference between attacking and defensive position. This way, if they loose the ball, they will start defending immediatly in the opponent´s half.

Thanks.

Frontline pressure was on for them.

Strangely fluid formation was off. I went through the prem and la liga and fluid formation was on for every team I checked.

Doing a Master League with Atletico Madrid, just seeing how I can build this team up even more. I got Juan Mata, paid a hefty price for him while also giving away Gabi. Running a 4-2-3-1 with Mata plugged in the middle at AMF and on his debut right now he has 2 goals. He's setting up everyone with his vision and passing. I had a chance to get Reus but I opted for Mata due to his creativity. I love it in this game where you can put certain players on teams and see a transformation happen.

Since the PSN was down I finished my second season in Master League. Such a blast. I got fired, then I started coaching Burnley (they got relegated into the Sky Bet Champions League) the first half of the season I really struggled. My approval rating was 15. Then, in desperation mode I switched up my formations, play style, support strength, etc.

Team started reeling off wins during the second half of the season by years end my approval rate was 100 and finished 9th. Got some other offers from teams to leave but decided to stay with Burnley. I quit coaching Venezuela as a national team coach, and bolted for North Korea.

Can't wait to start season 3.

Anyone else having problems logging into PES servers now that PSN is up again?

Is there any way to edit the camera views on PC? I see mods for the previous games but none for 2015. I love the Fan View, but I want to zoom it in a bit and it would be absolutely perfect for me.

# 335 BL8001 @ 01/11/15 08:25 PM
I just love that the cpu attacks and shoots.

They dont all go on goal too, it feels nicely organic to me with some howlers coming at the right time and some nice controlled shots at other times.

Need that patch that gets the cpu crossing game more active. I get games with almost none and then have a game with 3 or 4 cpu crosses at most.

Still enjoying this game.

Enjoying the PS4 version but sure missing option files. Any site recommendations for PS3 or Xbox 360 option files? Does anyone know if there are any more stadiums in the last gen versions?

Here is another thing I like, and this comes straight from going back and playing some fifa 15 matches.

In pes, your lofted passes contextually contain the right amount of backspin, the exact same kind you see when you watch the sport.

This has been a giant wtf in fifa games for so long. Its why the ball in that game over topspins and either goes out harmlessly for a gk or it goes to the keeper. Its not pitch friction that is the fifa issue its actual spin on the ball that soccer/futbol players apply to their lofted passes.

As soon as I went back to fifa I missed the ability to play this commonly occuring pass so much, instantly.

Konami gets this and makes it auto occur when it should. This works and works well.

I would like to be able to influence the spin in some way but with both games switching you to the target man it cant be hold LS the opposite direction.

As it stands, for me at least, pes allows me to do more correct futbol things with the ball than fifa does.

# 338 demencia_total @ 01/28/15 03:52 AM
I think I'm done with this game, the Master League broken stats ruined it for me. I just don't feel like playing 5 minute halves just to get more realistic scores. Its absurd that such a thing hasn't been fixed (at least on PC).

# 339 RoyceDa59 @ 02/03/15 11:21 AM
So I have a PS4 now but scared to even play the demo for this to compare it the PS3 version I already have; plus I like having option files what shall I do haha.
