Welcome to the OS Mega Roster Project! I created this project so people can have REAL life NBA 2K12 gameplay. I strive for gameplay accuracy and I have done countless hours of testing in this area.

What is edited in this roster?
Ratings (By: Paul Pierce and Slimm44):

Ratings are not overall based, I never go by overall when editing players because I want the gameplay to be 100% realistic. Ratings are from data from the last three seasons expect for shooting ratings which are based off the current NBA season. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Tendencies (Paul Pierce, Hyperballer and Slimm44):

Tendencies are what you can call a "mixed bag". Slimm44 edited the tendencies on his PC roster then I used them as a base for this roster. Hyperballer Provided the dribble tendencies to help provide realistic dribbling animations. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Animations (1rose, Paul Pierce, Hyperballer):

As you can see we have tons of people who worked with the animation edits. We used 1Rose's sig shot edits in our roster from the signature shot thread. We used hyperballer's dribble animation edits for realistic dribbling animations. And I edited some of the free throw and sig shot edits to my own liking. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Contracts (EagleRock562 and Paul Pierce):

Contracts were done from EagleRocks website that you can find here. I simply applied them and took away one year so that contracts are ready for the 2012-2013 season. I also edited +1 year for bird rights and years pro as well.

Accessories (Perry Price):

Accessories are from Perry Prices Sim 2 the maxx roster that can also be found on OS. He edited accessories from the last time we saw these teams and he has allowed me to use the valuable edits in my roster!

Playbooks (Vannwolfhawk):

Playbooks are from vann's popular playbook edits. They help teams play as realistic as they can. Vann tried to add how teams run Pick and rolls, cuts, screens and many other facets to the game with these edits. These were a huge help in making the gameplay great.

Player Movement (Weeks):

Weeks is what I like to call a player movement guru. He follows twitter and many other outlets to get the latest player movement. Another person I would like to thank for this is dj123456705 he constantly posts on my thread on player movement, I can't thank him enough for it.

2012 Rookies (Vtcrb):
I used vtcrb's draft class to get my 2012 first rounders. Other then faces, draft info and other minor details EVERY 2012 rookie is from vtcrb's draft class.

Rookie CAP's (Hulyan):

Hulyan has created the whole first round, including some second rounders faces (The rest of the players faces were as is on vtcrb's draft class). Hulyan is probably the best cap maker around and he did an excellent job on the faces.

Staff Edits (PJT8450):
Staff edits are by PJT8450! He edited staff so that all teams have their head coaches, assistant coaches and many other staff members correct. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Special Thanks List:
Steve_OS: For mentioning my roster on the first page
vtcrb: Letting use his 2012 rookies and making the roster compatible with every draft class on this site.
Gausec: For creating some of the missing player CAPs
Hyperballer: Dribble Edits

One thing I realized about Shot Stick Timing is that sometimes if you get a perfect release, 9 out of 10 bad shooters can become good shooters.
Real Player % uses the ratings thus making it more realistic imo, if you want to use shot stick you need to lower the shot sliders.

I'm confused PP. What's the latest playable roster you've put out? Is it the mega update one or the one that says roster 6 I think.

Free agent forward Carl Landry is headed to the Golden State Warriors, according to his agent. The two-year deal is worth an estimated $8 million, with Landry possessing a player option for the second season. The Los Angeles Clippers acquired guard Willie Green from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the draft rights to Sofoklis Schortsanitis, the team announced Monday. Maalik Wayns signs with 76ers for 1 year.

Syracuse point guard Scoop Jardine will likely receive a training camp invite from the Charlotte Bobcats.

Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to bring rookie free agent Maalik Wayns to training camp and on Monday they signed him to a one-year contract.

Nate Robinson has been looking for a team and Monday he agreed to a veteran minimum one-year contract with the Chicago Bulls

The Toronto Raptors have added depth to the backcourt by re-signing shooting guard Alan Anderson to
a one-year contract.

The Golden State Warriors signed rookie Draymond Green to a three-year, $2.6 million contract, reports Yahoo! Sports and agent Mark Bartelstein tells the San Francisco Chronicle that Carl Landry has agreed to a two-year, $8 million contract.
Those two contracts leave the Warriors about $4 million under the luxury tax and Bartelstein says his other client, Brandon Rush, should get his contract done in "a day or two."

The Grizzlies needed to add a center to round out the roster and Saturday they re-signed Hamed Haddadi. According to The Commercial-Appeal, Haddadi's contract will pay him between $1 million to $1.3 million for the upcoming season and 2013-14 is partially guaranteed.

Warriors re-sign Rush to 2-year, $8M deal

Rush's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said Tuesday that the second year of the contract is a player option for Rush.

PP,

I have checked out some of your prior rosters and very impressed! The authenticity and jersey selections have been very appealing! I was wondering if there was a way to add the D-Fenders (LAL D-League team) home jersey? I seen the Purple road one, but didn't find the Gold home one?

Also is there anyway to add the Suns black jersey? You currently have the White and Purple versions of the sun burst, amazing! Just thought maybe the black alternate was a possibility?

Seems as well all of the Sonic jerseys are represented other then the ones made famous back in the Kemp/Payton era. I have no clue what goes into adding the jerseys or if it's possible, I'm very new to all this and just in amazement over what you've been able to add this far haha!

(anyways, I been reading OS for a while in the NCAA forum and decided to finally join the community and check out the NBA forum - Hello everyone haha)

Just to let you guys know I'm alive still , I really started to get sick of the people on here and took a break. But then I realised how many people wanted my work so I'm going to take another crack at it. I just scraped all my old files and I'm working on a new roster.
