Welcome to the OS Mega Roster Project! I created this project so people can have REAL life NBA 2K12 gameplay. I strive for gameplay accuracy and I have done countless hours of testing in this area.

What is edited in this roster?
Ratings (By: Paul Pierce and Slimm44):

Ratings are not overall based, I never go by overall when editing players because I want the gameplay to be 100% realistic. Ratings are from data from the last three seasons expect for shooting ratings which are based off the current NBA season. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Tendencies (Paul Pierce, Hyperballer and Slimm44):

Tendencies are what you can call a "mixed bag". Slimm44 edited the tendencies on his PC roster then I used them as a base for this roster. Hyperballer Provided the dribble tendencies to help provide realistic dribbling animations. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Animations (1rose, Paul Pierce, Hyperballer):

As you can see we have tons of people who worked with the animation edits. We used 1Rose's sig shot edits in our roster from the signature shot thread. We used hyperballer's dribble animation edits for realistic dribbling animations. And I edited some of the free throw and sig shot edits to my own liking. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Contracts (EagleRock562 and Paul Pierce):

Contracts were done from EagleRocks website that you can find here. I simply applied them and took away one year so that contracts are ready for the 2012-2013 season. I also edited +1 year for bird rights and years pro as well.

Accessories (Perry Price):

Accessories are from Perry Prices Sim 2 the maxx roster that can also be found on OS. He edited accessories from the last time we saw these teams and he has allowed me to use the valuable edits in my roster!

Playbooks (Vannwolfhawk):

Playbooks are from vann's popular playbook edits. They help teams play as realistic as they can. Vann tried to add how teams run Pick and rolls, cuts, screens and many other facets to the game with these edits. These were a huge help in making the gameplay great.

Player Movement (Weeks):

Weeks is what I like to call a player movement guru. He follows twitter and many other outlets to get the latest player movement. Another person I would like to thank for this is dj123456705 he constantly posts on my thread on player movement, I can't thank him enough for it.

2012 Rookies (Vtcrb):
I used vtcrb's draft class to get my 2012 first rounders. Other then faces, draft info and other minor details EVERY 2012 rookie is from vtcrb's draft class.

Rookie CAP's (Hulyan):

Hulyan has created the whole first round, including some second rounders faces (The rest of the players faces were as is on vtcrb's draft class). Hulyan is probably the best cap maker around and he did an excellent job on the faces.

Staff Edits (PJT8450):
Staff edits are by PJT8450! He edited staff so that all teams have their head coaches, assistant coaches and many other staff members correct. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Special Thanks List:
Steve_OS: For mentioning my roster on the first page
vtcrb: Letting use his 2012 rookies and making the roster compatible with every draft class on this site.
Gausec: For creating some of the missing player CAPs
Hyperballer: Dribble Edits

What do you mean by that? MP, should work fine (with the OS Mega Offseason roster). I added Yao Ming's stats in the next update and AI is the free agent pool.

PP, are you going to be doing both Quick Play and Association Files? I personally think you should just do one and that's the Association/MP file.

The Cavaliers acquired point guard Jeremy Pargo, a second-round draft pick in 2014, and cash considerations from the Grizzlies in exchange for guard-forward D.J. Kennedy on Wednesday

The Boston Celtics may have completed their backcourt going into the 2012-13 season after they came to terms with Keyon Dooling.
According to ESPNBoston.com, agent Kenge Stevenson said the guard will sign a veteran minimum one-year contract.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are finalizing a two-year, $20 million deal with former Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have re-signed guard Shannon Brown.
The contract is for two years with the second year partially guaranteed.

NEW ORLEANS -- The Hornets, Suns and Timberwolves have agreed to a multiplayer trade sending 7-foot center Robin Lopez and forward Hakim Warrick from Phoenix to New Orleans, while moving forward Wesley Johnson and a first-round draft pick from Minnesota to Phoenix, a person familiar with the deal said. The deal also sends guard Jerome Dyson and retiring center Brad Miller's $5.1 million contract from New Orleans to Minnesota, allowing the Timberwolves to clear space under the NBA's salary cap as they pursue free agents. Minnesota also will receive two second-round draft picks from New Orleans, while the Hornets will receive cash.

ook cool. Just let me know when you get it set up

The 6-10 center was the 33rd overall pick out of Florida State and a former staff sergeant in the Air Force with three tours of duty overseas under his belt. The 27-year-old's contract will be guaranteed for next season at $473,604. Bernard James Mavs

Tim Duncan was on the books for over $21 million during the 2011-12 season and he took a major wage cut to re-sign with the San Antonio Spurs. three-year contract will play him $9.65 million next season, $10.4 million in 2013-14 and $10 million in 2014-15.

Nelson's new deal, and the figures are higher than many may have imagined.
He'll make $8.6 mil in 12-13, $8.6 mil in 13-14, $8 mil in 14-15," Kennedy wrote. "Last year is only partially guaranteed.

The person told The Associated Press about the trade on condition of anonymity Wednesday because it has not been announced pending the completion of some routine logistical matters. The deal also sends guard Jerome Dyson and retiring center Brad Miller's $5.1 million contract from New Orleans to Minnesota, allowing the Timberwolves to clear space under the NBA's salary cap as they pursue free agents. Brad Miller should be put in the free agency and rated a 25 since he is in fact retiring before next season. I hope all the contracts for your next release are on point PP because I tried PJT's latest update and it was really messed up starting an association since all the contracts were completely "way" off. Thanks and I'm praying to god at this point that the roster gets released soon lol.

Shannon Brown's contract with the Suns is for 2 years - $7 million ...

Shannon Brown has officially signed his two-year, $7 million contract with the Phoenix Suns and he's thrilled to stay with the organization.
"I feel good when I'm here," Brown told The Arizona Republic. "I have a great feeling about it. I had a career year even with an up-and-down season. Now if we have a full season and really get time to jell into it, I think great things can come out of me individually and with the team."
The Suns are close to acquiring Wesley Johnson from the Wolves, which means Brown will likely be the backup at shooting guard when training camp begins.
