Yeah ... lot of improvements and some great tweaks in gameplay. Player models ... or faces are improved.

Still, the most important thing will be the multiplayer. If that sucks, I won't buy.

Looks incredible. I can't wait!

Rondo's crossover dribbles are quick! I can't wait to try those handles with Tim Hardaway!

Ok..I've watched enough...i want the demo since yesterday!

Pros:
- Love the Rebounding animations
- Post game (fighting for position) looks more realistic
- Jumpshots look more realistic

Cons:
- They still have that ugly one hand/arm pass animation that gets through into the paint too easily.
- Ugly overhead two hand pass is still there.
- Didn't see the cpu walk up the ball, only the user did.
- Still don't like the post-up shots esp the ones after you spin on your defender for that ugly one hand layup/shot off the backboard.

Overall it's better than 2K11, but hope this game video was played on Rookie since it still looks like the user could have easily abused turbo to get into the paint for a foul or layup/dunk.

after watching it twice things that stand out to me are
-Nice pre-game presentation
-Player faces look better
-Gameplay looked smoother (Jumpshots too)
-Commentary flowed nicely
-Crowd seemed to get into it
-The choice of plays at our disposal

WHAT'S HOT

- Momentum jumpers are silky smooth
- Post-game seems to be spot on
- players models are slimmer, the result is a bigger court and better spacing
- some improved shooting forms: Ray, Mo Williams, Pierce
- 5:26 --> It seems Rondo's eurostep being blocked by the defender
- Nice rebounding animations, especially on 7:53
- The walk-up the court is back
- A lot of faces have been updated: Gordon (finally!), Garnett, Mo, Gomes
- Loved how the A.I. played in terms of playcalling

WHAT'S NOT

- Didn't like Griffin lay-up on 7:31... it could have been easily blocked

Is it just me or is the court huge! Looks like better spqcing than 2k11..

Camera angle is higher so it looks like it has more spacing...

I think they have team specific camera angles, the small clip of the Bullets game looked lower to me and the gamescom vids looked like the ones from last year...

Looks amazing, players faces really did impress. I didn't find anything wrong with anyone face at all. The gameplay looks so smooth. That last Ray Allen 3 was amazing, because he got pushed a bit and fell back.

Love it... Great stuff

YES! The AI helps you grab rebounds! They know they're on YOUR team now

Take my money already!

GREAT to see a VIDEO ---these days I believe "screenshots" are outdated...

5-7 years ago screenshots were great, but screenshots just don't don't do anything for me anymore...call us spoiled, but it's 2011 and we want gameplay!! So, it's great to see it!!!

Good stuff
- presentation looks "cleaned up"
- animations seem to flow much better
- ABSOLUTELY LOVE the addition of Steve Kerr - BEST IMPROVEMENT I.M.O.
- the walk-up/dribbling animations are baaaaack....yes! (can the CPU do it too????)

Bad stuff
- @4:19 Ray Allen makes an "And-1" and there's NO REACTION FROM THE CROWD....WTF?!?!?!?!?!? (2K needs to really work on the CROWD...)
- @7:30 Blake Griffin's lay-up looked weird (there should have been contact, because it never would be that easy)
- the 1-armed pass 'in the lane' AND 'across the court' needs to go

Damn. Pulling out the DeLorean, setting it for Oct. 4, 2011:

- great intro, presentation excellent. Thought crowd reactions were very appropriate for a normal game. Leaves room to amp things up noticeably in the playoffs (which 2K says they've addressed)
- game looks SMOOTH
- 3-man commentary booth sounds great, remarkably everything sounded new which I didn't expect. Interested to see if they have any casual conversational interations between all three (although some people complained about it last year). Either way, excellent commentary
- like the variable walking/jogging anims additions
- cpu play looks awesome
- the players are so distinctive, refreshing to see the individuality

Off to watch again. Go ahead and say it 2K. Stick the two swords in one at a time, pull them out, double-chop the head off and say:

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?

me: You had me at hello

It looks like most of the improvements were "under the hood" as far as gameplay...

crisper movement\ dribbling
collisions
quicker movement on plays\screens

Czar was right when he said nothing will pop out at you....

bur for a guy like me, I love it....

It seemed last year any time I tried to roll the ball inbounds, the computer would attempt to dive on it if I let it roll near half court. So it may be a small thing, but it was nice to see rolling the ball that far was not an automatic dive from the opponent. In 2K11, in theory, the user could bait the computer into a dive then take a 5 on 4 advantage down the floor.

The thing I was most happy with is how good all 3 announcers sounded together. It was 1 of the things I feared would sound forced and take away from a great game. Overall it looks amazing and I cant wait to play you guys online Oct 4

This looks and sounds incredible. I've never bought an NBA game, but this will be a for sure buy for me this year. If only NCAA, Madden, and NHL can learn from this broadcast style presentation. Presentation isn't about cut scenes, but rather how the actual game is presented by the broadcasters, the real time commentary, stat overlays, and the crowd reaction. This game looks to have nailed it. Can not wait to take my first step into video game basketball.
