if free agency and draft logic and scouting are truly fixed, that's all that matters to Andy..
AB is not gonna spend time looking at the background screen, and while the Extra Point might not be what some envisioned, it would of most likely been something you skipped after 6 or 7 weeks for being so repetitive

No highlights? I guess I spoke way too soon in that other thread, simply because I thought the Extra Point feature was a highlight reel of week-to-week games. What a big disappointment.

I don't think its such a bad thing that theres no video highlights, i mean, we haven't had it all this time so its not like somethings gonna be missing. With all the new presentation and better gameplay we probly won't even care after about 2 games in franchise.

Don't know if any of you guys caught it but I was watching the Looman Franchise vid and 1:08 into it you can see something we have not seen presentation wise.
If you change the vid to full screen you will see a second t.v. above the one they are displaying show what looks to be some pre-game from a Green Bay game. You can see Rodgers lower body as he is warming up (think is him because its Green Bays pants), but you can also see how the screen is split. They are actually showing each QB side by side, split screen like they do on t.v., warming up. Then you will see the screen show that Rodgers or possibly the other QB having 5 years left on his contract. Very Cool!

Ya that I notice. But please post this in the other franchise threads already up. This is just making more work for the mods.
At first i was a bit dissapointed in this whole thing with no actual highlights. But looking back on it a bit I can say i'm genuinely impressed with this as a whole.
My fav. Madden to date is 2005, and that had the Tony Bruno show in it, which was great with the newspapers and everything.
So all and all if the AI is anything like in HC09 or better, and progression actually works, like in the PS2 days. Ill be in line at gamestop at 10PM for this game.
