How is it hate? No one answered the question I posed earlier - didn't last year's game have non play-specific commentary highlights? If this year's is the same, framing a show around it is supposed to be a huge improvement? I've gotten my answer in digging a little, but don't see how you can call someone questioning things as "hate". Some of these expectations are so low that Tiburon could accidently trip and fall forward and they'd get a standing ovation from some here. We really can't be surprised about the state of where the game's been when people expect so little from it in the first place.

Relax. I'm sure we will have plenty of footage by the end of the week.

All the years I have played madden games. I have never ever seen post season statis been kept up. You would see the regular season statis been kept. But post season statis have never been kept. I wonder why EA never put that in. I would love to see how many total sacks my guys get in the playoffs and in the superbowl. This feature needs to be added on to keep statis in the postseason like it does in the regular season. I am hoping it made it into madden this year.

Here is Madden's biggest problem. These Devs have to play catch up. They are putting in things we have been asking for for years. While that is nice that they are doing it, they have yet to put in something that has blown us away. For example, if their TV show HAD highlights and they didn't say anything, it would completely blow everyone's minds.

I hate to keep bringing up 2k5, but i believe it was the first game to allow replays when the game was over. Meaning, you could go to the scoring summary, click on a play you wanted to see and it would replay. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HYPE THAT! The game was so loaded with stuff like that, that I didn't discover that until midway through a franchise.

Madden is still just trying to get all the stuff in that we have been asking for. It's too bad for Ian and crew because it's not their fault, but it is what it is.

so much for this madden surpassing 2k5 in terms of presentation. iirc, that was their claim this year. this is their fifth outing on next gen hardware yet they're still getting beat by a five year old game on outdated hardware. i don't even know how that happens.

I agree 100%, on top of that Ian's twitter said that it would come either with dlc patch or be in madden 11. That is good enough for me they have done an awesome job this year.

I am going to guess there will probably be something on Gametrailers tonight. They are releasing a ton of gameplay videos from today. They just havent started on sports games yet.

looks good...refreshing for the madden franchise

not really bummed about not seeing highlites in XP....2k did this years ago...neat for a couple of weeks but by year 3 in my F'chise I'd had seen every 'scripted highlight' enough

I tried to look closely at the E3 video to see something on the highlight show that would indicate that a trade has been made.

Can anyone confirm if two CPU controlled teams can trade? If not, then Franchise mode is nothing more than a cosmetic upgrade.

Well, Madden '09 was probably worth, mmm, about 20 bucks, and this one is probably a little more than twice as good, so we'll say $50.

You know, aside from the graphical enhancements I'd say the EA football games on Ps2 are far more enjoyable. This new Madden looks good, but until I know for sure, I don't think I'll consider worth more than NCAA 2007 or Madden 2005 for Ps2 was.

Trades happen during the draft in 09 so atleast this much will be in M10.
