Seattle outlasts late scare from Cowboys to win 30-25
Arlington - The Seahawks got way more than they thought they would have to handle from the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but at the end of the day the expected result was achieved as Seattle left with a victory. Percy Harvin's return was a big boost for Russell Wilson, who had his best game of the year throwing for 272 yards, and 3 touchdowns, 2 of them caught by the returning Harvin. Seattle needed every bit of it too as after jumping out to what they thought was a comfortable 24-6 lead in the 3rd quarter. The Cowboys all of the sudden turned it on, and roared back to even take the lead for a brief moment in the 4th quarter after a Marshawn Lynch fumble. Afterwards though Wilson led the Seahawks right back down the field and connected with Harvin for what turned out to be the game winning score, as the defense held on to preserve the victory. Next on tap for the Seahawks they will travel to Arizona to take on another 1 win team in the division rival Cardinals.

The Seattle Seahawks hit the road to Dallas for a re-match of their divisional round playoff game from a year ago. A lot has changed since that time as the Cowboys have improbably free fallen into one of the worst teams in the league, and no where near resemble the team the Seahawks played in January

Players to Watch:
Offense:

Jason Witten - TE: Witten is again, but is still one of the premier tight ends in the game. Despite the emergence of Dez Bryant, it is still Witten who is Romo's security blanket.
Defense:

DeMarcus Ware - DE: Ware is one of the game's elite pass rushers. The Seahawks have done a good job keeping Wilson off of his back this season, and will need to do so again Sunday.
Prediction: Despite last week's scoreline, the Seahawks played a lot better than one would think at first glance. They just lacked the one big play against an elite defense to get the job done. Before that the Seahawks were as hot as any team in the league, and where as the 49ers can offer a sizeable speed bump. Dallas is just awful right now. They should offer little resistance to this Seattle team, and the Seahawks will pick right back up where they left off.

Seahawks can't come up with big play, drop game to 49ers 13-9
Seattle - The Seahawks and 49ers played almost dead even statistically, but in the end it was the 49ers who were able to make the key plays down the stretch to eek out a 13-9 win at CenturyLink Field on Sunday Night Football. While QB Colin Kapernick again was not sharp against the Seahawks, this time his defense was able to do enough to preserve victory for his squad. The 49ers got the big play the needed late in the third quarter when Kaepernick connected on a 57 yard touchdown strike to Michael Crabtree to put the Niners ahead 10-9, but right after Russell Wilson was able to drive the Seahawks all the way down to the 49ers goal line. Once again however the Niners made the big play that mattered after a pass bounced off Kenny Bell's hands in the end zone, it found it's way to Aldon Smith, and the Seahawks best drive of the night turned into zero points. A late drive again at the end of the game ended in a Wilson interception, his 12th on this season that he has struggled to produce behind center, and the 49ers were walking out of CenturyLink Field with their first victory since 2011, and a strangle-hold on the NFC West division with a two game lead, and a road victory in hand over the Seahawks. Seattle will now have to re-group as they travel to Dallas to take on the lowly Cowboys (1-8).

Here we go again. The two fiercest rivals in the NFL will lock it up again this Sunday, and of course first place in the NFC West is on the line. Would you expect anything less?

Players to Watch:
Offense:

Colin Kaepernick - QB: Kaepernick has really come into his own in now his third season as the 49ers starter. He has become statistically one of the best passers in the league to go along with his running ability. It will make for a nightmare match up this Sunday.
Defense:

Patrick Willis - MLB: Willis is still the best linebacker in the game despite his increasing age. He is the anchor of the number one rushing defense in the league.
Prediction: It doesn't get any closer to dead even than these two teeams. San Francisco has been the slightly better team this season, but Seattle is very close to them especially with the way they've played the last three ball games. It's really going to come down to one thing, and that is can Colin Kaepernick get over his CenturyLink demons? It seems to be the kryptonite to his otherwise Superman like persona these days. My guess is Kaep plays well, but these two teams are still even enough that the 12th man should put Seattle over the top.

Seattle dominates all phases of 44-7 blowout win
Cincinnati - There's no place like home they say, but Seattle proved Sunday that sometimes a little road trip is needed to break the monotony. Seattle's offense got on track in a big way on Sunday, and the defense was once again dominant to put the pieces together for a very impressive win on the road in Cincinnati. Coming in many thought this would be a very tight contest given Cincinnati's form of late, but it was anything but that. Even though the Bengals were just the third team this year to hold Marshawn Lynch under 100 yards. Russell Wilson made them pay through the air as he threw 3 touchdown passes on the day. The defense for the second straight week held the opponent to under 200 yards of total offense, including only 82 yards through the air to Andy Dalton. Seattle also force four Bengal turnovers something they haven't been doing much of lately. It all added up to a resounding win that will start to turn heads around the league. Now Seattle returns home for a big time match-up with the San Francisco 49ers that will see first place in the NFC West up for grabs.

The Seahawks hit the road for the first time in a month as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in an inter-conference match up. The Bengals have been playing better as of late. Rookie running back De'Anthony Thomas has injected some life into the offense, however it is still statistically one of the worst in the league. We will see if the Seahawks defense can dominate for the second week in a row.

Players to Watch:
Offense:

A.J. Green - WR: Green is one of the premier receivers in the game, and his match-up with Richard Sherman will be to watch all game long.
Defense:

Geno Atkins - DT: Atkins is the best interior lineman in the game. He is a dominant pass-rusher and run stopper, and will spend the day wreaking havoc on the Seahawks interior offensive line.
Prediction: It will be interesting to see how Seattle responds to the pressure of a road game after so much time at home. Cincinnati has been playing well lately, and will make it extremely tough for Seattle. Expect this one to be very close with a late score deciding it.

Tate Dislocates Hip

It was a scary scene Sunday Night at CenturyLink Field as Eagles WR Golden Tate crumpled to the field after a kickoff return. Of course Tate spent his first 3 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks and had many friends on the other side of the field concerned for his safety. Tate may be out the rest of the season depending on how much structural damage is revealed in today's MRI.

Seahawks hold Eagles to under 200 yards total offense for 24-0 win.
Seattle - The Seahawks defense put on their most dominant performance of the season, holding the Eagles to 186 yards, and zero points, and The offense navigated the rainy weather to put up 457 yards of their own to put the touches on a dominating win in front of a national audience on Sunday Night. Russell Wilson again put up a mistake free solid performance, and looks to have put his early season struggles behind him. Marshawn Lynch again was the workhorse racking up another 163 yards to pile onto his league leading total. The Seahawks are beginning to finally resemble the team that made it all the way to the Super Bowl last year before coming up short to New England, but it's one thing to get healthy at home. After 3 straight weeks at the CLink the Seahawks will now take their act on the road next week to take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Seattle Seahawks wrap up a string of 3 straight home games with a tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles at CenturyLink Field. It will be rookie Stephen Morris' first venture into the unfriendly confines of the CLink, and the match-up will also feature the leagues top offense, against the leagues worst defense.

Players to Watch:
Offense:

LeSean McCoy - RB: "Shady" is one of the premier backs in the game and one of the few who can match-up against Marshawn Lynch head to head.
Defense:

Trent Cole - OLB: Cole is one of the premier pass rushers in the game, and can cause problems for Russell Wilson on the day.
Prediction: Record wise these two teams are close, but as you can see above the Seahawks boast the leagues #1 offense going up against the worst defense in the league in Philadelphia. Getting behind early is not the recipe for success for a rookie QB in the CLink. Look for Philly to have a long day in this one.

Seattle - The Seattle Seahawks were able to exact some revenge for their first loss of the season as they took care of the St. Louis Rams 37-20. The Seahawks were able to run the ball effectively once again which now appears to be their formula for winning this season as Russell Wilson continues to work through his struggles. That being said Russell was better behind center this week as he didnt make any mistakes, and was able to move the offense steadily by making key passes on third down when needed. The Rams on the other hand after running well in the first match-up could not get anything on the ground against the Seahawks in this one as Stephens-Howling only accumulated 36 yards rushing. The Seahawks now get to stay home for one more week and welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to CenturyLink Field.

Players to Watch:
Offense:

Tavon Austin - WR: Austin in his sophomore campaign now is starting to come on as a leading option for Sam Bradford.
Defense:

James Laurinaitis - MLB: Laurinaitis leads the Rams in tackles this year, and is one of the most steady linebackers in the game.
Prediction: The Seahawks will be double salty for this match-up. Coming off of their first home loss in almost three years, and also seeking revenge for their other loss of the season at St. Louis. Seattle will be nothing but focused for this game, and it will make for a long day for the Rams.
