      I'll just say you are 100% correct. As a former community guy though whenever I have the choice of spend more time developing a feature and adding more to it or take that same time and work on a teaching feature it is hard to pull the trigger because as a gamer i want the depth of the feature set first. I figure we have enough hoop genius' in the community to teach it and learn it.

      The reality is that every moment spent on instructional tools is a moment less available on adding depth and polish to an actual game-play feature. And some of this stuff takes forever just to do something relatively small in scope.

      Plus, and this is a big one. Any teaching feature needs front end support IE menu's and such and that line is ALWAYS backed up and game-play team requests for front end are at the way back of the line. So it is difficult to get the resources lined up in addition to what I said above.

      But I hear you and I agree in principal it's just when the going gets tuff I often choose put more cool stuff in the game because at the end of the day I'm a gamer.

        Czar can I suggest a short video clarifying some of the defensite settings for 2K18? Even now, there is dispute about what some do. Not the obvious ones, the ones that were added.
        Yeah I guess I got to make sure even I understand them first. I was going to do a bunch till I discovered a few didn't work like I thought. Now I'm a little gun shy. LOL!!!

          Hey Czar, one suggestion I have for 2K18 that would make this stuff much easier to figure out would be to put ALL of the settings options we have in the normal games in the scrimmage mode.

          Off the top of my head, in the scrimmage mode we don't have the defensive settings and we can't use the defensive packages you guys added this year. If I recall correctly, the offensive options are pretty fleshed out in this mode.

          For some weird reason, the defensive options are available in the Practice Plays mode, but not the Scrimmage mode.

            I don't think they are available in either practice plays or scrimmage. I love your idea.

            If tutes can't be done from 2K's end, including def. settings in practice plays or scrimmage will give users the tools to figure this stuff out.

                Just double checked and the defensive settings are available in the Practice Plays mode. I'm on PS4 if there's a difference between consoles for some reason.

                  Sweet, Im on XB1 and it definitely wasn't in either. Maybe it's been patched in.

                        CPU doesn't double enough now. I have 17 points w/ Harden in the 3rd quarter alone, 37 for the game, and they're letting Seth Curry continue to guard him one on one w/ no help ever.

                            Why are shot creators broken when they have a 94 off dribble overall, why are sharpshooter broken when they have a 94 standing 3pt overall, why is it that playmakers can shoot better then both sharpshooter and shot creators combine and there shooting abilities don't even match or combine to a sharpshooter or shot creator..... EXPLANATION PLEASE

                                No new tendencies added. Every single player on current rosters minus (Uthoff, Long, Garino, Georges-Hunt, Walter Tavares, Dahntay Jones) were revised w/ updated tendencies to fit gameplay. You have to use latest official roster for changes to show.
