Well, next month it is. Tried this patch, don't like it. Striking is still not fixed, MT clinch is still OP imo (and why is Muay Thai 17 times champion UNABLE to break free of MT clinch done by NON MT fighter?), combo multiplier won't get removed right?

Now EA can you use face scan technology next year for UFC 3? The portraits of WOMEN fighters in general are fugly to say the least .

Also can I be the one to say Cris "I am a MAN" Cyborg shouldn't fight with women, but men... (saw her debut fight in UFC and NO way is that monstrosity a girl). Yes, I don't dig her or her fans. :>

From what i am finding out is that some fighters seem better on HARD and some are better on Pro,Sarah Mcmann for instance really goes for takedowns nonstop on pro and is really tough on the ground and she is still very good on hard difficulty.

As far as standup goes keep going through a lot of fighters and use the same matchups and do 3 fights on Hard and then do 3 fights on Pro with the same fighters and you will discover the new AI more, then keep choosing different matchups and fight multiple times on Hard and Pro.
So I need to go through a roster of 250 fighters and have 3 fights on each difficulty to see where they may fight realistically? I have about 30 mins of free time a night. I'll be 65 years old by the time I complete that. (I'm 51 now) Would you mind posting what fighters you think fight better on what difficulty?

Defense and stamina were both equal issues in my mind. Both lead to easy KOs for humans. I played maybe 25 AI fights yesterday on Pro and Hard and stamina isnt that much of an issue for the AI on Hard. Why? Because the AI is less aggressive on Hard.

On Pro, the agression of the AI appears to have been increased and that leads to significant stamina drain. There are ways around the issue using certain house rules but I agree that we shouldnt have to use HRs for things like stamina.

Those things arent likely to be "fixed" next month or the month after that. You pretty much have the choice of accepting how striking works in this game or trading the game in and hoping they remove the things u hate in UFC 3.

Also Cyborg hasnt had a debut fight yet. Her first UFC fight is this Saturday.

My thoughts on the current state of the AI:

Stamina:

On Pro, stamina is still a major issue for the AI. If an opponent is in range, the AI will always attempt to do something (strike, takedown or clinch). That results in the AI never regenerating its temp stamina to full. That not only affects the AI's ability to throw strikes but affects the power of the strikes and their ability to take damage (more health events/KOs).

On Hard, this is less of an issue because the AI is less aggressive so it has more time to recover. Thats not to say that the AI doesnt gas on longer combos but it throws less of them so you are less likely to see it gas alot.

Defense:

On both Pro and Hard, defense is improved but not to the level I think most people want to see it. I still find it way too easy to dominate the AI by throwing basic strikes. Last night, there were many times on hard where I was able to crush the AI just by using basic 1, 2s. The reason why is that the AI doesnt use high block enough.

Think about when you play someone online. Now that parries have been nerfed, you see most people using high block and movement as their primary defense. That makes it more difficult to KO a human opponent. The AI doesnt do that.

Skynet is making some changes to that and I'm hoping that with the AI using high block more, it will force people to mix up their attacks more against the AI. Now next patch the block change is only happening to Pro but I would love to see it happen to Hard too.

In my opinion, the pace/aggression of pro plus the addition of a consistent high block will greatly increase the AI's skill on its feet.

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Game Update 1.06 & Content Update #3 Available Now - Details Here

Just played a half done car I made an played it on beginner to give him a whooping an it got to the third round,I'd hit him with everything and we looked as worse as each other as the comp just wouldn't go down so I did three 3 x one two jab cross combos and watched it crumple yet all the hard punches an kiks merely knocked the ai out of combo range and was not fun at all
PS ended up with the lowest amount of stamina I'd had in a long time due to the fact the computer was able to eat the sheer volume of strikes I'd landed it did look beat up an I was as cut as bad which wasn't good maybe beginner is the new pro,I've finished careers on the highest settings but that was mental that
It really was like he was a computer fighter who was rigged to not get beat
Unfortunately the one two tactics flattened him after a few which is a shame ?
