Re: Top 10 NFL Video Games of All Time

NFL2K just had a season mode. In NFL2K1, the franchise mode was implemented.

Where is Tecmo Super Bowl for the original Nintendo? That was, if I recall correctly, the first game with all the teams and (nearly) all the players where you could play through a whole season and see your stats. It was vastly superior to the original Tecmo Bowl. Hell man, people are still playing that game today and it was released 18 years ago.

Tecmo Super Bowl should be in place of Tecmo Bowl.

Re: Top 10 NFL Video Games of All Time

Oof...I totally disagree with half of this list.

Tecmo Super Bowl would be my #1 or #2 of all time because it is still a game I play TODAY. NFL 2K5 is the other one.

And WHY doesn't NES Super Play Action Football get any love? It had High School, NCAA and NFL in the SAME game. I loved the newspaper clippings and playing at all three levels....

The first NFL Quarterback Club for Nintendo 64 was 98, not 96. But it came out in Fall 1997

I think the one thing we can all agree on about this list is that none of the next-gen (360/PS3) pigskin games deserve a spot on it.
