Hello fellas,

Me and my brother just made an experiment on how prominent NBA 3pt shooters would do with wide open opportunities behind the 3pt line.

Please note all shots are made with no defender around.
No Stamina. Catch and shoot, no dribbling situation.
After 48 mins of nonsense, the followings are the results.

Danny Granger made 41 out of 88 = 46%
Joe Johnson made 29 out of 75 = 38%

Come on EA, leave the scripted percentage alone!

Sorry, forgot to bring this up, this is my point..

How is it possible that NBA player like Granger and Joe Johnson shoots only 46% and 38% wide open 3s?

This seriously needs to be patched!

I have to say that I know the JJ was due to a bad release because that dude is always killing online. lol. I'd say he shoots well over 60% of wide open threes. But maybe it would level out over time? I dunno though.

I played a game against my nephew in which he was the Celtics. He learned the release points for all there players and ended up shooting about 80% from 3 pt range with all of them including Rondo. This was against what I was thinking was good defense (standing directly in front of them and pressing Y to contest the shots, LOL. This taught me two things one the fg% is not scripted and two I must have been contesting shots wrong, I was.

so every wide open shot is supposed to go in? seriously...would that be very realistic?
