Re: Number 1 Pick - My Career

I honestly don't think it's possible. I remember scoring 81 points in that first Elite game and got drafted with the 5th pick by the Sacramento Kings. I changed my shooting release to a really quick one and kept hoisting up 3-Pointers all game. I made myself a 3-Point Specialist Point Guard to ensure my 3-Point rating was high and that I always got the ball first and I still couldn't get drafted with the #1 pick. It's weird though too, when they have that prediction thing where they predict which team is going to draft you, they said I scored 71 points instead of 81. You would think, a guy that scores either would get drafted first, it didn't happen.

Make sure you don't answer the 2nd and 3rd pick interviews correctly

It's not just about who scores the most. The people I've seen get drafted 1st have had an A+ grade, high 20s or 30+ points, and nearly a triple double or a triple double. I think if you got 81 points, you wouldn't have had a good amount of assists which probably held you back.

I could have but answered the next two interviews correctly too and ended up going second. My interviews were Hornets(1), Bobcats(2), and Wizards(3).

Damn. Yeah, my assists number was pretty low. I can't believe people have actually been drafted #1, that's crazy.
