really been on the fence about this release...the last couple years i've been disappointed with the ps3 copy, sluggish controls and player response...i've been diving into some other threads and most ps3 posters have been positive...

just trying to get an overall opiinion of this year's ps3 version compared to the last couple years on ps3....

It's too legit to quit!

Overall the game feels much smoother and everything is responsive, but if you don't like the slow takeoffs, especially when trying to change direction on defense, you're probably not going to like this years either.

Obviously its up to you, maybe rent it first, then you can make a decision without breaking the bank.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ps3 version. Those comparison screens are Photoshop fixed in that link. They make it look all washed out on the ps3. It doesn't look like that on my ps3. This year the ps3 holds it own very well.

besides the fact that there is no beluba cam in ps3, it's no real differences

The xbox has and always will be better version on about 97% of multi platform games

No need to ask this every year since it will not change this console gen

And no the pics on lens of truth are not photoshopped

Everybody except fanboys know that 360 multi platform looks better but plays the same as ps3

i'm more concerned with the game controls and player responsiveness...is that better on the ps3 this year? that's my main concern...

I have both versions, and this is my first 2K game on the PS3. I don't notice a difference between the two, honestly. The only thing for me is the 360 controller feels more suited to the game than the PS3 controller. I'm buying the trigger attachments today to see if that will help a little.
