Best shooting guard of the 80s?

I DL a team consisting of the best players of the Magic Johnson era. But the team has Joe Dumas as their sg,in your opinion who's the best sg of that era. Jordan of was the 90s era so he's out of the conversation.

I would consider Dr. J more of a Power Foward. My pick would be Sidney Moncrief.

Drexler, Erving, Gervin?!...Mark Aguire perhaps and also you can throw Rolando Blackman in the mix IMO.

I would have to go with Joe Dumars or Ronaldo Blackman.

He was actually a SF if I remember correctly with SG being his secondary. Not sure if he played PF though... he was only 6'6 -- probably a little too small for the 4 back then.

Don't forget Jordan as he is probably number 1. He came out in 84 so had a good 5-6 years of dominating in ppg. Walter Davis with Phoenix or The iceman or rolando Blackman. All were all stars. Dr j played sf with that team as cheeks was point and andrew toney was sg.
