Magic Johnson... 80s was the birth of me watching the NBA and Lakers were my team. -
Re: Which player do you like playing with the most?
After all these years of complaining that their MJ likeness wasn’t accurate, they made him a 1 to 1 copy in this game. He’s so realistic in so many ways, he’s the most fun and immersive to play with for me.
Luka is also enjoyable as especially with some tweaks he feels like Luka. Except he should be chunkier.
AI is like a cheat code with his speed.
Made some tweaks to Tatum and he’s fun.
Shaq is always fun.
Kobe.

Re: Which player do you like playing with the most?
Drazen Petrovic was brilliant to control: Strong enough to finish inside, enough dribbling skills to seperate himself, good shooter from outside after coming of screens, great midrange artist. They really hit for me what I was feeling when I am watching tape of him. That was my highlight for this years game for me for sure.
Now I have a blast with the presence inside of Hakeem. Running the offense through his post play is something modern 2k gameplay just doesn't represent anymore.Comment

Dirk. Having mastered his set jumper, left & right fades, and he's a literal offensive cheat code.
His 2003 model needs to be +15 more on speed & acceleration though, he had respectable quickness for a big in his early - mid 20s.Comment

Re: Which player do you like playing with the most?
I have to bring this thread up again for one name alone: Alex English.
In an era that is ruled by force it is so special to have someone like that who has so much finesse. The way you're gliding over the court with him feels amazing. And it's a huge plus of course that he just doesn't miss.
I think this could be the first time in ages that I average 30 points per game with a player, just because it is so much fun scoring with him.Comment

His dunk package needs refining too, I'd say.
Overall though, they did MJ good this year.-----------------------------------------

Try going into freestyle and running toward the basket straight on (with or without turbo), then as you get to around free throw line distance, double click X (on XBox, or whatever the layup button is), just be sure you’re not pressing turbo WHILE doing the layup (or else it’ll trigger a spin move), and if you get lucky you’ll see him do the hand switch layup and more of his flashy layups. I can’t get it to happen every time though. Would love to figure out if there’s a rhyme or reason to it.Comment

Re: Which player do you like playing with the most?
Ez shaq but 2k isn’t designed to defend post properly so it’s boring. Also gotta lower his speed. Dude has 70 or 80 speed it’s like ehhhh. I open up the speed curve w sliders. But yea I can for real be shaq.
I can play any c who I have watched, who is true to form. But I’ve spent a ton of time working on the nuance of inside game, pushing people around n bumping. It’s no wonder I want shaq for that. On perimeter, anyone who can cross into a 3 lol.

Yeah getting the flashy the layups in his package to show up is pretty much impossible in game. I thought I figured out how but not sure if it was just luck.
