Is the 'Painter' Archetype the only way to be a Starter in DD with your CAP?

I notice that is the only way my CAP would show up as a starter... am I missing something?

If you are wanting to play in DD and be a starter yes. But you can be a starter pitcher and use any of those archetypes. I don’t know why they till you the default position in ballplayer because it forces weird stuff.

I will add, it might change what your recommended position is if you do level up the other two archetypes. I know for me I leveled up the speed and fielding ones do diamonds and they both changed all the time as what one was recommended. So it’s possible if you do flame and then add control in the silver version it’ll be a SP for DD.

With that said my painter Diamond archetype can hurl a four sealed at 100+ so it’s possible to get filthy even if you go down the painter tree.
