Road To The Show

I've never delved into road to the show before but while I'm waiting to start my season I thought I would.

Is it possible that this mode is a cash grab? I don't ask that to be controversial. I ask it because I've had to restart it seven times today.

The script SEEMS to always be the same. No matter how careful I am with my pitches, I can strike out the sides in one inning and then get viciously shelled in impossible ways.

What I mean by that is, weaker, bottom of the order hitters seem to do impossible things with pitches that they should not. It's really hard to explain it.

I'm not highly skilled and my reflexes are not great but I have a good idea of where a ball should be hit based on the pitch and the batter's ratings.

It might be that I'm just not good enough or I'm not patient enough to get past the scouting games in Arizona.

If you veteran say it's not fixed then I believe you and it's a me problem. But, since I've never played this mode I've never really looked at threads about this mode.

I'm so frustrated that I want to spend real money to improve my player fast and then I thought to myself, that might be the way it's designed and if it is I'll just stick with franchise.
