Does anyone hit from broadcast view or directly behind the pitcher???

I love hitting from this view. I think it is the most realistic if you are aiming to capture a game as seen on tv. I noticed most guys like the catcher view. Is that because you want to feel like you are actually there and hitting? I guess I must be strange in only wanting to play as it is seen on tv...lol. Funny thing is I never bought a baseball game for years because no game would allow this view for hitting until the show...woohoo!!

Re: Does anyone hit from broadcast view or directly behind the pitcher???

Been doing it for the past three years with the show and I am addicted. I actually started doing it because I was struggling hitting from the catcher view and it has made me a better hitter. Plus I now can draw more walks and limit my strikeouts.

I think I'm going to give this a go.

How long is the avg learning curve for this switch?

Cheers.

I was thinking about this at work this morning. I bet this would increase my ability to be patient at the plate. Is it a drastic difference in how easy it is to hit?

What hitting style you guys using? Analog, timing, zone...I love this view but can't decide the type of hitting I want to use.

Don't get how you can hit if you're using the home plate view that the pitcher basically has.

You're the one controlling those guys, so the camera view should make sense and it should be close to the view the player you're using has.

Same thing for NHL/NBA games. I can't use broadcast camera view, it has to be the view that really makes it feel like you're controlling the player, and not just watching a game on tv and playing yourself.

I'd find it weird having to move the analog stick sideways to go up and down.

I use the old school button plus zone. Analog is cool but I don't like how the guy starts his foot so early before the swing. Doesn't look natural imo. Its cool knowing other guys play the same view. Too me its much easier to pick up curves and breaking balls. You can draw a lot more walks also!
