Analog Pitching Issues
Hey guys, new to these boards, I've been playing a lot of MLB 11 lately and I've noticed a reoccuring issue that keeps coming up on these boards.
A lot of people are wondering why when they do analog pitching the pitch does not go where they intended it too, even if they put it in the right spot on the way up with the right toggle.
I believe this is the issue; when you pull down on the right toggle you are not pulling it down perfectly straight, you are pulling it to the right or to the left slightly, and its causing your pitch to go into the opposite direction that you intended it, sort of like a mirror.
I experimented with this and I discovered that this is indeed the issue, or the main one anyways. Of course, not all pitchers are going to be deadly accurate and go right where you want it too, but if you want a high inside fastball and you get a low and outside one, this is probably the reason why.
Try it out for yourself, focusing on taking the ball down straight (or down on an angle to see for yourself if it's what make's you throw inaccurately). Hopefully this will clear up some issues.
