Sorry for the dumb question. I'm on the main screen and I see the "play now". But where do I go to start a season and take my team thru the year? I don't want to be a coach or a single player. I know this is dumb, but I don't see a Season mode (like dynasty in NCAA football)

Coach mode is what you want.. Its basically franchise mode of the past.
Prepare to be let down though, EA hates its offline fan base

Welcome to the party pal, career mode replaced franchise and season mode.

Simole what you need to do is go online and find a spreadsheet of the real nfl schedule, then get a piece of paper and a pen to keep track or all scores and stats, next go to play now and play every game on the schedule. Then figure out the playoff matchups and play all those games. Then play the superbowl.

The real answer is there is no season mode the way it has been in the past.
