Just got my first hate mail of the game. Yay! If by spamming, he means popping his ******* with jabs and straights when he was winging punches, then I guess I'm guilty. Kids, lol.
LOL the best fight i had all game and all i did was use the GSP game plan
so all this dude did was spam superman punch all fight long so i said f it took his as....s down (this was a champ fight in ultimate team mode) and ground and pund him every round he tried to spam that punch on me
so in the words of brock lesnar i took the horseshoe out his ... and beat him over the head with it

Just won via split decision. Game has been all good for me so far. I was using ben saunders, and after the win, he was picked up by his training coaches and I started thinking about the hw's in the full game... I really hope ea doesn't let guys big Roy Nelson get picked up and put on his coaches shoulders, that would be a recipe for back surgery.
In Ultimate Team, after opponent whiffed a kick went in with one of them tornado kicks and got the KO. The impact and subsequent faceplant looked so amazing...
Why is it that when you're in mount, on top, and the person on the bottom is spamming the "get up" animation, and you're blocking it every time, that it's your stamina that's going to down drastically?

Yeah there are a few things for ground control they need to fix. It at least sounds like they're open to it.
Use movement and sways. Wait until their stamina drains to nothing.

Thanks , really like this game but I'm 0-5 lol. Probably because I prefer to wrestle and try to wear out my opponents with Takedowns but ppl strike me like I'm playing Mortal Kombat lol
This is my firs post to the forums, but I have been lurking here for a month :P I'm from Finland so I was not eligible for the beta. But I have been watching twitch streams and youtube clips of the beta and so far it looks great!
But there is one thing that bugs me a lot when watching the fights. Knockouts look amazing but those ground and pound finishes don't deliver in my opinion. With ragdoll physics you can really feel the hits and get those holy -bleep!- moments. But when you are finishing the fight in the ground, the fighter giving the beatdown has some serious windups in the punches but the receiving fighter barely reacts after the first punch. And it always looks the same. Worst part is that the replays won't show the knockdown leading tho the ground and pound. That somewhat breaks the immersion that otherwise is awesome.
I know that it's not the biggest thing but it can be anti-climatic when you get a awesome finish, but end it in not so great looking pounding and you don't even get to see the replay of the great knockdown.
If you guys agree with me, could you mention it to the beta forums so the devs can see the issue? Thanks.
