Pretty excited to see where Hayward, Favors, and Gobert rank in the frontcourt Top 10s. Have to figure Hayward is Top 5 SF, although I could easily make a case for him to be ahead of Melo.

Utah should be good like last game. Hayward probably is a 81 or 82 favors is already leaked as an 84 I believe. Hayward over melo?? Man the melo disrespect on this board is incredible. Never understood why people are so quick to give away his title as the third best SF. Tomorrow we shall see though. I predict the top five to be lebron, KD, melo, PG, and Leonard. Everyone has their opinion though.

Yea Hayward defense wise is a good case to make but Melo is so great offensively I'll take him

If 2k had a team impact rating Wade's would be very high and so would Duncan's .

I knew one of you would attempt to bait me into arguing his placement. He isn't relevant since we are comparing guards with guards not with big men. The scale is completely different for a power forward/center and Duncan is still very strong in key areas like rebounding, blocking shots, etc.

Wade and Bryant aren't great at anything in particular anymore other than playmaking and possibly ball handling. Neither player is an elite scorer, defender, rebounder or anything else. They aren't durable anymore and both are now average athletically. So, why do they deserve to be only a 8 points below James Harden who is in his physical prime, again?

I imagine Khawi is probably right there with PG at an 86. Rudy's definitely low to mid 80's, my guess would be 83.

If this is correct then I fully agree with the ratings for the small forwards. Shows the diff tiers of sfs

Most of these ratings are the same for most players. A couple players got bumps but it was a decrease at the top.

I'm really more interested in the detailed ratings. Given the 99=GOAT scale I wanna see the specifics. 3 and D guys like Middleton/Danny Green are a lot more valuable than their ratings

Wade is still a good finisher, hes was in the top 2 among shooting guards @ finishing in the restricted area/paint.

#1 was dragic

I guess being a better playmaker and ball handler somehow made Ginobili the higher rated player, yet Green is the better scorer, rebounder, shooter, he's more athletic, durable and is a much, much better defensive player. This current ratings system really undervalues elite 3 - and - D wing players like Middleton, Green and to a lesser extent Matthews.

I guess 77 is the standard 3 and D rating now. Iguodala's part of that club. I was really expecting Green to be an 80.

Yes I was expecting a 2 pt boost from last season. 75-76 would have been better. Austin Rivers is so overrated at 73, dude should be a 69-70 at best. I will still start Ben over Bellinelli, better defender and I'm certain he will have a nice little breakout year and get a boost at some point this season. I think he will be in the conversation for most improved player. He has the tools to be a very good defender and his shooting stroke is pure, we saw flashes of what he is capable of last season, his speed and athleticism is off the charts too.

So sick of that constant whining about overalls.

Am I the only one who feels Gerald green should be higher up on that list
