Watching an NBA game on TV is one thing, but it’s a whole other experience to sit in the stands and take it all in live. Thanks to new scanning technology, we’re able to breathe life into arenas from across the league and bring out bring out each location’s unique character. We’ve also improved the HDR light and color capture techniques for better accuracy. Here’s a look at the places NBA players call home.

Oh sorry I forgot to say IMO.....besides comparisons here are frowned upon...I just don't like how some of the lighting in the arenas are done in 2k's IMO....

You get upset much, just because there hasn't been a lot of game play doesn't mean it's not going to be good.

Now elaborate on that. What specifically did they get wrong, etc?

Wondering which team is going to be the first to do old arenas. Imagine playing in the Boston Garden or Forum, OR Philadelphia Spectrum. It would only need like 5-6 arenas, add how games looked on tv in 1981 and you got GOLD.

For the record, comparisons aren't frowned upon here. The problem with comparisons around here is that too many people tend to use them as a crutch to allow things that shouldn't be happening continue to happen. If you're making a productive, healthy comparison I don't think that's wrong. But if you're trying to just drag up another game just to excuse/take the topic off why you're getting shoveled garbage with another, then people have a problem.

Most likely means the roof since that's the only thing I can think of that's been an issue for years with that arena. They just use Oracle Arena's roof.

How come they have the old scoreboard at the Pepsi center in Denver in NBA live 15 but have the new scoreboard there in NHL 15

The ACC is amazing, new court looks bang on. It's the best replication of the acc i have ever seen in a video game. They even have our 2 Atlantic division championship banners. The only nitpick is that in real life the banners are sued by side, not on each end of the arena. But atleast they got the banners in.

Live always has amazing arenas. Not shocked at all at these screens.

Live always did the arenas almost perfect. My favorite on live is the Barclays the have that looking photorealistic. Of course Boston and the knicks because they have the real logos and stuff I'm so jealous lol especially being a Knicks fan

Don't get fooled EA is great when it comes to visuals but suck at gameplay. My Charlotte Hornets do look on point but I won't get to excited till I see some gameplay.

Charlotte Hornets... Best looking logos, jerseys, and court in the entire league. Looks really good in-game. If only player animations were smooth...

I guess no one forgot to point out how smal the courts look..not bad overall though!

Man, I'm a sucker for small details so it really irks me that the 3 point line & the center line isn't the regulation 2 inches thick, very noticeable to me.

The roof is wrong. But what they really messed up on was the luxury boxes and the 2 LCD screens running the length around the arena. Sleep Train does not have 2 rows of boxes. It also doesn't have any LCD screens between the lower and upper deck. Also, there are no vomitories in the lower deck of the real Sleep Train Arena.

Seriously? How do you mess up that bad if you scan the place? lol

They didn't scan it. Funnily enough, 2k does the EXACT same thing by using Oracle arena and just changing the jumbotron lol

lol c'mon devs (not just EA). There's a difference between efficiency and just straight up cutting corners.

It's apparent you are right - aswell as anyone else who has said this also.....(don't want to leave anyone out).

But why are they using Oracle's? Is there a reason specifically they use Oracle's roof and not....say..... Detroit's?

Just curious....
