I don't think it was out of the box.
It was "introduced" by the first patch I believe.

Yep, there was some other far more minor glitch where stuff that was SUPPOSED to be decimals (like ERA) showed up as just a single whole number... they tried to fix it in the second patch (technically the first patch was on release day), and then this happened.
Or something like that. It definitely wasn't in the retail copy though.

Yeah. It was a fix for no decimals in earned run average but the change added the two decimal places to all the stats. Ya'd hafta think the change was made by in inexperienced coder and wasn't checked by quality control.

My biggest gripe is that they would fire the drunk they hired as scorekeeper and bring someone in that knew the rules of errors and who men on base belonged to and what the **** an earned run was. If that got done I would be super happy....oh yeah and if they would fore Karros and rehire Hud but that's a non-patch issue.

So my wonder is.....why was it not addressed? That is not a minor detail. And it is a little surprising that they did not fix that code on this patch. I know they are aware of it.
Anyway. Back to playing The Show tonight.....like every night.
I can't apply this patch. Everytime I hit ok it just reboots my ps3 and I get that failed to shut off properly error.
So now I just hit cancel and keep playing with the old version.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I keep backing out of the menu that prompts the download and keep playing my franchise as is...
I'm in 2013 and the number of roster moves, etc would kill me to lose...
I keep checking in, but haven't seen a definitive answer...

I have not had any issues at all since this all started....once I loaded the last patch i started my franchise, so when 1.21 came out I was nervous, but i have played several games and all is good.........
I did have one cool thing happen (maybe it has always been there), but I had a bat fly into the crowd out of my batters hand.....never had that happen in almost 50 games, then i downloaded new patch and it happened.
Had these in the thread for the old patch before I saw this one so here goes:
Downloaded new patch. My previously frozen RTTS now works fine. Awesome.
My previous franchise that worked fine is now missing from the hard drive. No I did not delete it accidentally or overwrite it. I just played it the other night and now it is nowhere to be found.
Actually, when I select Franchise and "Continue" one of my RTTS files is actually available to load but with the datestamp from when I last played my franchise. Seriously. I select franchise and it offers me a RTTS file. I tried loading it for the heck of it, thinking perhaps my franchise file somehow got renamed and it says "this load file is no longer valid".
Also, I noticed that in RTTS I cannot turn off the Post-Game Auto Save feature even with the appropriate option selected (that is, set to "OFF").
This is obviously a minor issue but it is kind of annoying because I like to turn that off to save myself the extra 10 seconds in between games.
No idea why this happens.

^^make sure you save your settings after you turn Auto-Save off, or it will revert to the previous everytime you load your RTTS.

- No freezing or boxscore/schedule problems whatsoever! Then again, I didn't have any issues with any of the previous patches
- There is the minor thing of the ticker showing Interleague results, followed by AL and NL results too. Not sure if it was already present before 1.21.
- Since I'm in the middle of an Interleague series, I can't check for the decimals in the league leaders stats, as the don't show during interleague.
- Luis Marte, who was basically lights out for me, has given up the lead and got the loss in 2 straight appearances (in the same week)! Ok, that one is purely coincidental, but still LOL.

There wasn't one line of code changed in the hitting portion of the game. None at all.
I saw one odd thing for the first time, the previous start stats for my pitcher was all zeros when game started. I mean, the announcer said something like here are the stats for his last start and up popped the zeros. I've played over 90 games in my Season and that was the first time I've seen it happen.
Okay, I loaded the new patch 1.21, I played my RTTS from late 2016 to the beginning of 2017 season, I have still had no problems with any of the patches at all, sorry to those that have had problems. So far so good

Anyway, I have the 1.16 patch. I still haven't started my season because I'm a perfectionist, & I want the best OSFM Opening Day rosters! Lol. I'm actually still playing Spring Training with 2 games to go. Seeing as I mostly see good impressions, I'll most likely download the new patch. It's actually scary looking at the bugs thread 'cuz I don't wanna experience them, so I'll probably stay away from those threads like you guys. Lol.

In playing a diamond dynasty game I noticed that when my opponent tried to throw me out on a single to RF, the 1Bman was twice pulled off the bag and my batter/runner was safe at 1st.
182MB!!!!!!!!!! 182MB?????????? what the hell do you need to make it that big for??? 3 hours and no further than 7% before an error. I hate updates. Get it right before you send it out. Doesnt anybody play the game first?
