Welcome to the OS Mega Roster Project! I created this project so people can have REAL life NBA 2K12 gameplay. I strive for gameplay accuracy and I have done countless hours of testing in this area.

What is edited in this roster?
Ratings (By: Paul Pierce and Slimm44):

Ratings are not overall based, I never go by overall when editing players because I want the gameplay to be 100% realistic. Ratings are from data from the last three seasons expect for shooting ratings which are based off the current NBA season.These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Tendencies (Paul Pierce, Hyperballer and Slimm44):

Tendencies are what you can call a "mixed bag". Slimm44 edited the tendencies on his PC roster then I used them as a base for this roster. Hyperballer Provided the dribble tendencies to help provide realistic dribbling animations.These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Animations (1rose, Paul Pierce, Hyperballer):

As you can see we have tons of people who worked with the animation edits. We used 1Rose's sig shot edits in our roster from the signature shot thread. We used hyperballer's dribble animation edits for realistic dribbling animations. And I edited some of the free throw and sig shot edits to my own liking. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

Contracts (EagleRock562 and Paul Pierce):

Contracts were done from EagleRocks website that you can find here. I simply applied them and took away one year so that contracts are ready for the 2012-2013 season. I also edited +1 year for bird rights and years pro as well.

Accessories (Perry Price):

Accessories are from Perry Prices Sim 2 the maxx roster that can also be found on OS. He edited accessories from the last time we saw these teams and he has allowed me to use the valuable edits in my roster!

Playbooks (Vannwolfhawk):

Playbooks are from vann's popular playbook edits. They help teams play as realistic as they can. Vann tried to add how teams run Pick and rolls, cuts, screens and many other facets to the game with these edits. These were a huge help in making the gameplay great.

Player Movement (Weeks):

Weeks is what I like to call a player movement guru. He follows twitter and many other outlets to get the latest player movement. Another person I would like to thank for this is dj123456705 he constantly posts on my thread on player movement, I can't thank him enough for it.

2012 Rookies (Vtcrb):
I used vtcrb's draft class to get my 2012 first rounders. Other then faces, draft info and other minor details EVERY 2012 rookie is from vtcrb's draft class.

Rookie CAP's (Hulyan):

Hulyan has created the whole first round, including some second rounders faces (The rest of the players faces were as is on vtcrb's draft class). Hulyan is probably the best cap maker around and he did an excellent job on the faces.

Staff Edits (PJT8450):
Staff edits are by PJT8450! He edited staff so that all teams have their head coaches, assistant coaches and many other staff members correct. These edits ALSO extend to classic teams.

I would love to put them on 2kshare, but 2kshare has been terrible lately. I hoping to get on my 360 this weekend and try. So yeah for now just manually input them.

Thanks a ton man. Gameplay and stats are GREAT btw. Awesome job, maybe they can get you to work for 2K the way they got that other dude working with Madden now...

I started an Association last night trying to get back into 2K and I just couldn't take the way the computer holds the ball until the last second every time and doesn't run their offense. I came here to try to find a solution to this and I am blown away by the amount of effort you guys have put in this. I haven't tried these out yet but as soon as this OKC-LA game is over I'm gonna play one but I can already tell I will be satisfied. Thank you guys so much for helping us play the game the way it's supposed to be played!

Love the work you all put into these rosters and gameplay. It's by far the best rosters out there.

Quick question though. Why is Morris Almond rated so high from long range? I think he has 99 mid range, and a 95 3pt rating. Those ratings are better then most of the superstars in this league.

Pierces,

I think each player can have their own dunk package as long as the dunk in traffic slider is lowered, the players ratings are lowered, and the contact sliders are increased. It is wierd seeing certain people not having their own packages. It won't get out of hand with the dunks, trust me.

I went ahead and started a new Cavs association with your dynasty rosters and used the sliders you have on the first post. At first I was a little concerned with some of the player ratings you had, but then I remembered overall ratings are meaningless and I knew the players would play like themselves. I was right. I simulated the first few games before finally playing one. Kyrie is averaging 24 and 7 on 49% shooting despite only being a 73 ovr. I went ahead and played my first game against the 0-6 Bobcats. It was probably the best game I've played so far on 2k12. Kyrie was able to tear the defense apart scoring 20 in the first half. We held a double digit lead going into the 4th quarter. Then the Bobcats went on a run but I can honestly say it wasn't one of the game's scripted cpu runs. It was just me letting off thinking I would easily close the game. They took their first lead with a couple minutes left and we went back and forth. After Maggette hit a tough shot to put them up 1 with 10 seconds left, we went back and I ran a screen and roll with Kyrie and Varejao. I gave it to Varejao who drove in and hit a contested floater off the glass with .6 seconds left to give us the win.

Overall the game played very smooth and I think I will finally be able to enjoy playing the computer again. Also I saw a guy above me mention that Almond guy and I was wondering too why you have him as the best shooter in the game?

I wanted to tell you guys me and PJT are combining our rosters and will be once more working together, this update is going to take us longer then what I excepted so it might be a week before another update is released.

By this I mean, Were using my ratings and tendinces, coaching profiles. And we will add them to PJT's roster and upload it here. I will keep you guys posted.

The ratings tendinces and coaching profiles will be the same... So the game play will be the same.

Not a big issue of course, just something I noticed.
I personally think he's 7'0 but then I would get complaints he's listed at 6'9 but I will fix it anyways I will just have to explain to people.

Just checking, I remember you said next update would take maybe a week. Is this for the collab, or for your solo roster?
Basically, PJT gave me permission to copy over what I don't have into this roster, basically fusing our rosters together. It may take less time thou.
