Being a Pacers fan I like Clark Kellogg in NBA 2k11 and would rather have Kellogg than Kerr. But, I'm playing the game for the actual gameplay not who is calling the games so it doesn't really matter who they have doing the play by play to me.
Oh ok. I'm in Mavs country so I wouldn't know about Pacers regional broadcast. You taught me something.

Anyway, I like 'em both. But Kerr might be a breath of fresh air.

Just as long as Hubie Brown isnt in there (i know he's ESPN/ABC). When he is doing the game its the worst. The way he speaks (how many times does he say "ok" or "now look") and how hard he tries to justify every call the refs make as the right call, he is brutal. Mike Tirico, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson would be nice if they could have the ESPN/ABC rights in the game. But just get TNT in there at least.
Oh my goodness that is so backwards!!!

I'm sick of Marv, and Kevin Harlan is TEN steps ahead of him at this point in his career.

And Hubie Brown is legendary. His knowledge is unmeasurable.

Glad you're not in charge........

I don't like it, it's like taking the Live series commentators and adding them to 2k basketball. I don't want to hear Marv or Kerr...we've been hearing him since Live on PS2.

If they do add him as a third commentator, it better be refreshing and a good mix of all three.

Because the commentary in MLB 2k11 with 3 commentators is amazing!!! Better than anything else out! And 2nd to none so far!

We Want Chuck! We need his Trillness...

Him + Hubie Brown/Van Gundy = Perfecto to me, commentary would be better than the gameplay

I like this move because Clark doesn't do NBA games very much anymore and Kerr is very active in broadcasting. Could this also signal a TNT broadcast system for next year?

Good addition.... just remove ALL of Kenny\ Clarks lines from the game...theyve been there in variation for 3 years lol

Wait - are they replacing Clark or are they going with a 3 man booth of Harlan, Kellog and Kerr? Both options are good choices regardless IMO.

What's funny is last week or 2 weeks ago, Kerr was doing a college game with Kellog and the play by play guy (can't remember if it was Nantz, Verne or someone else) and I was thinking how good of a fit Kerr would be in 2K's commentary. Kerr and Kellog seemed to work pretty good together so I'm not so sure if they are ditching Clark.

Steve Kerr joining the 2K commentary.....I'll take it!

Not a bad move, as long as Kerr sounds more like he's actually doing commentary for a live game and not sitting at home and talking to his tape-recorder or something... In Live he sounds more like he's talking to friends during a dinner, on a Saturday night. Not much energy in his voice, and it doesn't sound like someone whos' actually in the stadium at all. I hopt 2K can make him sound better.

You can say what you want about Clark Kellogg, but Kellogg sounds like he's actually talking during a live game, Unlike Kerr.

Anyway, as long as Harlan is there, I'm happy. Whatever you do 2K, never ever hire Marv Albert. Please don't!

Nice move. I like Kellogg b/c he is passionate but he's primarily a college guy, so it's nice to get Kerr, who works TNT games, in the booth with Harlan. I'm sure 2K, with its "dynamic" commentary, will have Kerr on point.

I know the lines were recycled and the commentary wasn't dynamic, but I enjoyed Kerr and Marv Albert in NBA Live 10. Granted, I hadn't played Live in years so the old lines didn't bother me as much as others.

It could be that Clark Kellogg stays & Kerr comes in as a 3rd commentator.

Like I said in previous NBA 2K11 threads, I really like Harlan and I don't mind Clark but and Kerr will be a nice add for next year, I liked him in the Live series but... Is it too much to ask for Mike Green and Mark Jackson? and maybe Van Gundy? I think it's time for 2K to give a new look on commentary. Like I said, I love Harlan but he's been there for so many years now... I think Mike Green would be a awesome replacement

C'mon, I wanna hit a 3 with Ray Allen and hear "Ray Allen for 3.... BANG!" lol

Guys we're coming on the year 2012. Here's one: "Commentator choices".. Choose between Harlan/Kerr, Breen/Jackson/Van Gundy, Marv/Miller, Tirico/Hubie. Yeah, sounds unrealistic due to time and budget constraints, but wouldn't that be awesome? Commentary is a big-sell to me. Who wants to play a sports-game with commentary turned off? It kills Madden(along with other mess but that's a whole 'nother argument). I think I read that MLB 2K commentary has been a bright spot over the years despite the game's shortcomings.

In laymen's terms, "Yeah, I can't stand Clark Kellogg, either!"...:-)

And Chuck wants to get P-A-I-D!

Why would Kerr let this slip? Damn it - people can't keep a secret anymore.

# 37 AndyP @ 03/12/11 10:29 AM
Good move imo. The commentary as it stands was outstanding but this would be an improvement.

# 38 blues rocker @ 03/12/11 11:21 AM
Clark Kellogg was good, but it never made sense to have him in the game since he's not an NBA announcer.

# 39 ClutchFinish @ 03/12/11 12:37 PM
Chick Hearn!

# 40 B-Wills @ 03/12/11 12:43 PM
