I know I won't be buying the game, and I know alot of people who won't be buying the game. And you're right I will go play something else. Madden is ****.

LOL you all are right and I'm wrong. I guess I don't take gaming as SERIOUS as you all do. I have played bad games before and still enjoyed them. However you all seem like EA owes YOU something which is just funny to me. I don't know, complain and be upset and who knows maybe down the road the game you want might get made.

the only thing i can do is laugh at this video. especially when he breaks one tackle, meaning the other 3 defenders fall off him. stupid. lack of competition is the worst thing that can ever happen. Notice how Pro evo and FIFA continue to improve because they compete. Amazing how that works.

they owe us something because they're the richest gaming company in the world. Have the exclusive rights to the NFL and produce junk. Then, market it like they VASTLY improve it every year. It's drones to society like you that keep things the way they are.... thanks.

well I mean, they kind of do. I dont mean they need to do anything specific for me, but they took away my ability to choose different nfl videogames. at least they can honor their own responsibilities, fulfill promises, and make a solid game. Madden wouldnt get half the crap they do if there was no exclusive deal. They brought it on themselves. When they got the deal, they made all these promises that never came to fruition. heck, all they have done for the past 6 years is talk.

My only beef is that Timmy T went to Jenny Craig. He's a lot more stout than that. And,yes, Millennium's D is weak! LOL!

I wouldn't end the sentence that way with your current avatar.

Did you see what ProTak was like on the higher difficult settings? And did they mention anything about tuning ProTak more so not as many tackles are broken?

If a play like the David Tyree catch happened in Madden, the same thing would be said about that. I still don't have a clue how Eli managed to stay on his feet and then complete that pass.

Its just something you don't see every sunday but it does happen.

I agree that animations trigger at inappropriate moments though.
Only 2 guys got a hold of the runner, the others were engaged near him. That was one heck of a run, and more the exception than the rule. ProTak can be good if you tune it, it's just that EA's default tuning leaves a lot to be desired. Once you tune it, the number of gang bust outs are few and far between if ever (sliders FTW).

Besides for the broken tackles, it didn't look bad.

Is it realistic to occur once in a while? sure, but not as often as it does in this game. The last time I saw something like that in the NFL was Barry Sanders, there are very few players who should be able to do something like that and a rookie third string QB is not one of them. I'm more of a franchise guy, I can look past these types of issues, but I'm pretty sure that's why people are complaining about seeing things like this, along with the 'force field' issues everyone talks about.

For a few years now, I have sat here and laughed at everyone who says "I'm not buying the game this year"... Whether I think it's a great game or not, I NEED my NFL video game fix and must deal with whatever EA Sports gives me. However, just a second ago was the very first time that I can remember ever in my life actually thinking to myself "hmm.. maybe I can just get by with NCAA this year"..

Now, we all know the truth, once I watch the first game of the NFL season this year I will get that unbearable itch to play some Madden and no doubt will own this game by then, but it's sad that I even had the thought cross my mind that I really didn't need to buy the game this year... I wonder how many other people get this feeling for the first time or even worse, how many people that think this every year are REALLY thinking about not getting this game... Anyways it's sad...

man people that moan about all the nitpicky stuff drive me nuts. 'why should we spend 59.99 to play a game with [fill in the blank] issue?!' you should buy it because it's fun. not sure if you all remember but madden is a game. it's meant for enjoyment. if you get so caught up in animation problems and petty s*** like that, you need to reconsider why you play video games at all.

if you don't like it, don't play it. no one is forcing you to buy the game. if it doesn't meet your exact specifications, leave it on the shelf.
