Zone, yes, that's what I mean.

Which means the PS3 version is even more at risk for looking worse... the 360 last year had 2x AA, not sure about the PS3... but it didn't look like it did.

I just wonder where the pics are from... 360 build? Powerful PC?

Again, a powerful PC can make the game look like that. Easily. Not sure about the consoles. I'd love to see Live when it's finally released on the PC as well.

These developers seem to be limited by the hardware right now.

Hahahaha, are you serious right now man? I commented because Melo is my dude.. other people said they didn't look good either and I was agreeing. He's all yellow-looking in 2K9 and it's funny to me.

And I follow that with the part that you conveniently left out, "That expression-heavy Kobe pic looks amazing." Talk about focusing on the negative... haha, come on now. Telling me I have an agenda.. please. I want 2 good basketball games to play until the next ones come out, that's my damn agenda.

I don't know why I keep coming back in here. Every time the same thing...

Before this year, I could understand people talking about exaggeration. I hated the facial expressions in 2k9. We all know how bad they looked. Just check Steve Nash when he opens his mouth(comedy). I sincerely thought some of those screens looked real. It all has to do with the facial expressions and the eyes. I'm impressed just as many on here are.

Can't see his face, but he looked good too (CA-CAW! BRRR!). I didn't get in this thread when the shots first went up, so I just read the last few pages and saw the Melo comparison and commented.

The shots Pared posted all look pretty nice, but that one Kobe shot looks particularly good and you can really see the time they put into the facial expressions paying off.

Novastar, I have been keeping tabs on this forum for a while now so I'm well versed in the context. However what Stumble said in this thread shouldn't have inspired the reply he received.

I'm not pouring over 20 pages of gushing about screenshots just to comment, I just looked at the first ones posted on the screens page and then hopped to the last page of the thread to comment. The Kobe shot really stood out to me as head and shoulders above the rest thanks to the facial detail/expression.

EDIT: Back to the other forums for me... have fun with the screens guys.

No disrespect to you or Pared ex, but maybe you guys could take your back and forth to pm's so we can keep the thread on topic.

Stumble is right about that Kobe shot. Imo it is the best shot of the bunch to me. As far as the Carmelo shot, it is not dead solid but it is light years ahead of the 2k8/2k9 melo by far. I think they need to lighten that stasch a bit for starters.
