"One of my beefs with basketball video games has always been that while the companies get most of it correct, they rarely get all the details right. The tattoos, the shoes, the uniforms…that stuff matters, to me and, I’m sure, to other hoop heads out there, too.

When our friends from EA Sports came by the SLAM Dome recently to show off NBA Live 10, I mentioned my concerns to them before they even fired up the game. Then they pressed play and…well, it was all in there. I mean, everything."

Decent video and all, but I can't get excited over sneakers and pre-game rituals (which we will see for all of 20 seconds each game) If they don't improve gameplay, all of those things will be pointless.

I watched it again... are you sure that's sixers new court or clippers?

EDIT: NEVERMIND, it says "Sixers" hahaha

The clippers have an all-red key color. The one in the video looked liek the pics of the new court IMO.

While were on the topic of courts being updated. In the "gameplay enhancements" video with Mike. When it goes to the rebounding improvements and the clip shows the Raps vs the Griz. If you pause the vid, you can see the "Raptors" lettering along the baseline is now black with the thin red trim, the baseline and sideline is no longer red but clear hardwood and you can slightly (very slightly) see the claw at centre court, but I can make out that it's red and has the red circle going around it.

I dont know if anyone cares but I'm just pointing it out....LOL.

I actually don't mind that scene, it's after that. Here...

His jaw/cheeks are protruding too much or something..I'll chalk this one up as mid-expression too, though.

oh I got you..but I'm sure they nailed him..don't worry

Here's another screen. I hate to nitpick, but this screen looks a bit better as far as the jaw/cheek protrusion goes.

Darker/bushier eyebrows and a heavy five-o'clock shadow and I think it's nearly spot-on.

I've heard that Van Gundy doesn't allow players to wear headbands either, I know that's a simple solution, but something I wanted to either have confirmed or make EA aware of this.

But did you fix the Magic's numbers on their jerseys? The game looks great, but every time I see them in the vids and pics, they make me cringe that they are the numerals from the old solid jerseys. Kinda of a nitpic, but it glaringly stands out for me.

But to the vid, EA is really about to make me have to buy Live this year. Yet again I've seen nothing to make me turn away from Live, so far so good.
