Personally, I'd hate to play a basketball game if the players didn't have shoes. That's just me, though.

You arent the only one... i know people say accessories dont matter but they do matter to an extent... its not enough to just disclaim them though almost as if they have no place in the game when they do
It might not be the #1 priority but its important as far as an authentic look
and frankly as they say its apart of the culture of the game now
commercials, movies, magazines, tv, etc... its what you see
