That was amazing im so excited. havent enjoyed madden since last gen and i think it's safe to say this year is gonna be great. the running animations look great finally, love the presentation, tackle animations are much better and the celebration after the td looked great too. i cant wait

I really hate to say it, but I really was not that impressed. But of course this si still an early build so we will see come August. But the blocking looked a lot like 09 and the locomotion REALLY REALLY needs to be completely re-done. I am talking about every movement animation from the running to the Guards/Tackles moving around the line of scrimmage.

it was wayyyyyyyy to warp speed and sloppy.
the pregame stuff is obviously cut and edited to bits, so that's not something we can judge yet.

but I do agree that warping still seems to be basic to gameplay which is terrible

I think this video was on all-pro or pro so the pocket did not form fast enough. Hopefully when playing on All-Madden the pocket will form correctly!!

Overall the game is looking great and has taken huge strides!! I'm very impressed so far with what I've seen. Not to mention they still have a few more weeks to tune the game after E3.

I made a thread a while back about how the celebrations just seemed off in 09. The celebrations were too individualized and played out like solo acts on a stage, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Plus how sick was it to see Romo on the phone with the coordinator during the drive summary and the players on the field for the coin toss once again? One word. Yowza.
I agree about the post TD multi player celebration with a big linemen and another player jumping around celebrating with the player that scored the TD...this is exactly what i kept pressing in here all last fall continously..and i was pretty happy to see it in that video..infact i was stoked..because these are the things that make playing a NFL Videogame "fun"... its these little things that give off that immersion factor to the gamer thats playing the game..it makes such a huge difference playing the game imho

Im pretty confident we got something special this year..i cant wait til august

I also loved the cut scene of the QB on the bench after that TD Toss while his teammate ran up and patted him on his shoulder...this is what madden needed so badly.

The thing is..i just hope they add enough variations of these cut scenes..otherwise too little and its gonna get old quick

I hope the silent crowd is just temporary...and if possible...I think they need to make every player in madden a bit thicker..Ironically the cowboys and the eagles have some of the biggest o lines in football..but everybody looks sick in this game...Im not asking for them to tune individual players..EVERYBODY needs to be thicker.

A lot of nice presentational things going on. Nice animations and I think I'm going to like the fumble battle.

Hammond sounds terrible and this poor quality is unacceptable for a game that has come so far in one year. unacceptable.

If it was on All Pro it should be forming faster. That's supposed to be the more realistic level. Secondly the DE's are engaging way too early and they are slow getting up the field. (That might be the results of the plays called.)

Both QB's could have gotten out if they wanted, they just chose to stay. Third that thing is too wide and slow forming. They have a little bit of time left to tune this game right. If that pocket does not set up faster then to me it is simply cosmetics. It is not going to mean a damn thing when a guy gets in the gun.

Phil Frazier, Senior Producer: My favorite part of the game is getting announced at E3 next week so I can't give that away here. Outside of this great new online option, I'd have to say I really enjoy the level of presentation we're providing this year. From a better pre-game experience, to adding suspenseful moments, to better celebrating your victory in the Super Bowl, our presentation has taken a huge step forward. Overall, we're going back to our "it's in the game" roots and delivering an authentic and fun NFL experience.
I wonder what this is.

It doesn't seem like the announcers are going to refer to the players by name during a play.

Same old robotic announcer, except for Collinsworth.

There was no pressure on Romo. There was no need to step up.

The player camera is behind the camera man? How is that closer to a broadcast presentation?

Why does the crowd boo when their team recovers the fumble???

Another issue, which has been an issue in madden games for me, when the home team will win a call sometimes the crowd will boo, mind boggling to me.
