2022 Rosters for MLB The Show 20 (PS4)

Hey everyone.

Just finished updating rosters for The Show 20 on PS4.

Spent over a month on them.

All attributes were updated using 2021 statistics, Statcast, and Fangraphs.

40 Man is current.

The vast majority of free agents are in FA, obviously there are some limitations.

Retired players were overwritten by prospects, and the top prospects in Franchise mode is as close to accurate as I could get.

All players should have accurate contracts, or as close as I could get.

Service time was also updated.

User name on PS4 is Canadeion

Please rate, and I'm open to feedback on here as well. I hope this helps some people out.

I'll be updating once the lockout is over and more moves happen.

My only regret is starting the file with a roster that had Ohtani in RF, so I had to create him as a SP from scratch. I wish I'd saved a live roster that had him as a SP, but I wasn't on the ball... 😂

Jumped on 20 with these rosters last night. Added soler to the marlins .I somehow made it to the World Series with my 21 Indians franchise and when that’s finished I’ll be jumping into a 22 franchise (on 20) with these.

Started a franchise with these rosters. Hard to believe that I’m going to play the 22 season on the show 20. Just shows how great the 20 version is. Jumping back on to 20 there’s definitely not nearly as good as graphics but the gameplay is the best ever.

Started a franchise with these rosters. Hard to believe that I’m going to play the 22 season on the show 20. Just shows how great the 20 version is. Jumping back on to 20 there’s definitely not nearly as good as graphics but the gameplay is the best ever.

I've simmed a dozen or so franchises to about 5-10 years, and I'm really happy with how the stats look from the new ratings, so I hope you get a good experience with them!

Thank You for doing this work. Even though I have a PS5, I just can't play MLB 21 or 22 because they went back to scratch with the Rosters and RTTS. I don't dislike XBOX...I love my Xbox and play it as much as Playstation....but, it rubbed me the wrong way that they screwed over the player base....but more importantly the Creators that built the OSFM Rosters that helped sell the damn game every year. They did it for the money for sure. Anyways, @40 I can't re-do my player CAPS w/Career Stats in the newer games. I spent a few years simulating,importing & exporting to get over 100 retired players near perfect. So, Thanks for your time and allowimg me to play baseball in 2022. Im a Reds fan, so this is,all I got for 2022. lol

Have you released the final set of these?
I’ve had to do some editing myself mainly with lineups. For example George Springer was only playing against left handed batters, or Cody Bellinger was batting ninth.

I’ve done some position changes as well like Matt Barnes is a closer not a relief pitcher, mike Yastrzemski is a right fielder not a center fielder, etc.

What sliders are you guys rolling with on this set if any?
