Head Coach 09 Freezing

Does anyone know any work arounds regarding freezing/crashing in this game?I've read that it's a major issue. Will saving often save the experience? Does the game freeze at certain points even after shutting off the console and restarting, basically making it impossible to continue on with your coach? Any answers/help would be greatly appreciated.

This fix seems to works on X-Box 360 and it sounds counter-intuitive but if you uninstall the game and play it directly from the disk the problem seems to go away.
