Anyone else get in on either/both of the flights so far? Playing in the second flight right now, which is my first time playing this game. I’m definitely not the biggest Halo fan in the world, but this game is awesome. It just feels so good to play. Playing it on Series X btw

Yeah I just got it a week ago and I like it already. Feels smooth and it’s fun.

Can’t wait for 10 v 10 this weekend and drive vehicles.

I do hope they come out with a Battle Royal by next year, I just think they could make a great one Halo style.

Loved this flight. A couple of issues i had:

1. The double melee/sword lunge. I posted this on the waypoint forums abd its confirmed to be a bug in the beta version of the build and wont be in release. So happy because it killed a lot of close range weapons.

2. The new Carbine (3 round burst). To me it seems bad, like the damage is good however the way it tracks and the speed its projectiles move is awful. A simple strafe will beat this gun most of the time. 343 needs to be careful with this gun due too the 2 burst kill it can do.

3. I love the Ghost but I got a feeling its going to be nerfed. Its amazing if your aware of your surroundings and imo there are a lot of counters to it (Shock rifle, the electric grenades, grapple, spiker, rocket)

4. BtB CTF is amazing however I ran into an issue where you would go into sudden death and one team would get a ghost and warthog while the other get a tank and aerial vehicle. I posted this on waypoint.

5. AR. Not sure how I feel about the headshot multiplier on it.

Though it’s supposed to launch alongside the campaign on 12/8, there’s a ton of rumors surfacing that multiplayer might go live Monday as part of the Xbox 20 year celebration. It would be nuts! I was part of the second flight and loved it, this game just plays so good.

Been playing it since the announcement today I have missed a good Halo multiplayer and was so excited after playing the flights earlier this year. Its sooooo good!!!

I wish they had a separate slayer playlist for the people that just want to play slayer without oddball coming up. But i enjoyed the game play from the time that i had with it.

I played about 8 rounds last night and I really enjoyed it even playing CTF with random people. I'm on a little bit older PC (1070TI and i5) and it still plays pretty smooth on the settings I'm using.

I also use a controller and coming from Battlefield the default sensitivity settings are not even a possibility. I turned sensitivity all the way up and my horizontal/vertical deadzones down to 4 and it handles so good. It's still missing some of that Bungie Halo magic but the gunplay mechanics are smooth as butter.

Think I logged about 5 or 6 hours last night, love it

Yeah controller is the way to go. Mouse and key on Halo feels sinister.

Only had a small time last night to play but I did the tutorial in the Academy. It was short but it had some cool story bits, I really enjoyed it. Practicing with a few of the guns was fun. Can’t wait to finally dive into this tonight and get a bunch of matches in.
