Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
Why are sacks and Int‘s still not properly shown in the stats menu when you sort by „NFL“? Players are missing but when you sort by AFC or NFC all players are shown.

Re: Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
I've always assumed there was a qualifier on snaps played or total tackles and if you don't meet the minimum threshold for that you won't be shown in the league stats. Could be wrong, but it seems that way because it's usually my players that are the only ones missing. I typically do shorter quarter lengths which results in less total tackles and snaps played for my players. -

Re: Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
Not just user players. Even CPU players are missing. Why hasn‘t this been fixed? It‘s not been fixed for almost 10 years now. What are the game changers doing? No one playing franchise to forward this to the devs???Comment

Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
If EA is implementing a total tackles or total snaps filter on the NFL league-wide individual defensive statistics for performance reasons, that would correctly remove players who did not achieve the minimum number of tackles / snaps - whichever the filter is - from the table.
Assuming that filter exists, which my experience matches PhillyFanatic14’s that the players missing from the league-wide individual stats page always have lower numbers of total tackles, then the missing players from the league stats isn’t a bug; there is a filter and it is working properly. Obnoxious behavior for an end user, sure. But not a bug.Comment

For example, Trey Hendrickson was third in the NFL in sacks, and qualified for the list, despite only registering 25 tackles.Last edited by ForUntoOblivionSoar∞; 08-26-2021, 06:03 PM.Originally posted by Therebelyell626I am going to create a team called "the happy town fundament rapscallions" and hurt your already diminishing image

Re: Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
It's an algorithm error, though, since in the NFL, rankings of interceptions are not dependent on total tackles or games played. What you describe certainly applies to things like pass attempts preventing someone from qualifying for passer rating, but no such limitation exists for sacks or interceptions in the NFL.
Something I would be curious to know is if leaders in sacks with low tackle numbers show up properly in the new franchise hub front end which surfaces that data.
I honestly think the NFL tab on the individual stats page is using a naive filter on tackles for data access performance reasons and nothing more.Comment

As an aside: One more side benefit of PC... you could manipulate tackle stats to make yourself qualify in the Franchise editor. But without the next gen update, PC Madden is a fossil...Originally posted by Therebelyell626I am going to create a team called "the happy town fundament rapscallions" and hurt your already diminishing image

Re: Sacks and INTs stats in franchise mode
That is almost certainly the reason. The game struggles to bring up receiver stats, there's no way it can handle bringing up the stats of every single defensive player in the league all on one page.Comment

This has been an issue since the 1990s. I remember complaining about this since you could initially sort the NFL league leaders. They don't give two flips about franchise...Comment
