NCAA 14: Stopping sub out

Played a fun game last night. Up 24-0 at halftime but the CPU had a crazy 3rd against me and ended the quarter only leading 24-22.

As the 3rd quarter came to an end, my impact HB left the game. He wasn’t injured and I could not sub him back into the game. Had to finish the game with my 2nd and 3rd string backs. I tried putting him back in a specific formation but he was listed as the starter already

I do use the Auto Subs when a player gets below a certain % but should come back in at 90-95%. I’ve also seen where the system takes my starting WRs and HB out of a blowout game come 3rd:4th quarter.

How do I prevent the system from taking away my players for no reason? Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Felt as if my starting HB just quit the team [emoji16]

Once you get later into the game your guys never get above 90%. You'll have to lower your sub in threshold.

This depends on if you sub earlier in the game. I typically only have my starting tailback play two series in the first half in order to keep him fresh in the 2nd half. I typically play three tailbacks in the first half and they'll rotate in for a play or two in moderate to long drives in the second half.

I set my HB auto sub out at 85 and back in at 95. My 1st team HB gets most of the snaps until he goes out but I will have a few formations when I manually SUB HB to my 2nd string since he has 97 speed for sweeps or screens

I still see the CPU take out my 1st string WRs late in a game if I am ahead without asking me
