Unlockables - Stadium Sounds/Homerun Calls

Does anyone else use these?

I don't know how popular they are amongst the Show community, but I love these stadium sounds and homerun calls.

I'm not using the homerun calls much anymore, although I do use Joe Buck's homerun call, but the stadium sounds I use quite a bit.

You sit them up, similar to sounds of the show, where certain situations will have a sound attached to them (strikeout, homerun, stolen base, caught stealing, etc..)

Its a wish of mine each year that they would expand on this feature and add certain unique team sounds to the game and organ music or like the CHARGE chant.

Just curious who else in the community uses these.

I've never used them. Is there a way to preview the audio for all of the files?

Yes

Go into UNLOCKABLES and you can press SQUARE (not sure on Xbox) to preview the sound or homerun call.

So the real question is how do you go about unlocking these if you only play franchise mode with custom sliders? It's my understanding that you don't earn XP therefore you can never unlock these items unless you play at default settings. Am I understanding this right? Cause honestly I don't have any interest in Diamond Dynasty or RTTS at this point.

So am I locked out of these features if I don't play these other modes?

You can acquire them using stubs

They are fairly "inexpensive".

I always use the homerun calls. Not all of them, but 6-10 different ones. Just makes the commentary a little less repetitive

OK. So I got the Jackie Robinson Version because I'm a sheep and I just had to play it early. I think that came with some stubs....correct? Sorry I am totally new to the microtransaction game. Thanks.

I believe it did, as I haven't downloaded the code to check..LOL

Don't worry I'm new to it as well. I just get stubs and buy the sounds/hr calls I want and then I'm done "spending"

I used Gary Cohen (Mets Announcer) Home Run call of "That Ball's Outta Here" in my Franchise. Not sure it is still there in this years game, but I hope to once again use it.

are the Homerun call and other stadium sounds automatically attached to commentary for every team even if u havent unlocked them and assigned them? Cause i know for a fact that i heard 1 or 2 that i know i havent unlocked like the tire screeching sound after a stolen base.

If they want to make money off us franchise people, they could put specific team songs like Go Cubs Go on there and make us use stubs or buy them.
