Just finished the wonderful tutorial on how to soft mod my PS3 and install. Takes more than 30 minutes [emoji1787]

I booted it up for about 10 minutes, and wow, menus look amazing. Before all fuzzy, and now clear as day.

Cant wait to jump in! Got my football itch back!

The mod is great. I just think NCAA shows its age too much on the field at this point. If we could ever figure out how to mod the gameplay like Madden on PC, then I'd be sucked back in big time. Right now I don't have the desire I wish I had to play it given the dated gameplay. It makes me sad because I love the series, but the CPU is so weak in 14 and there's not much you can do to fix many legacy issues.

This is truly brilliant and reminds me of what Deuce Douglas proposed for Madden. Total proof of what just a fresh coat of paint can do and if EA would get their head out of their a** and provide this kind of simple presentation upgrade for Madden it would cover up a lot of their glaring flaws. EA should be embarrassed about being showed up by amateur creators who do more for their games than they can.

I got an XBOX 360 and having some trouble figuring out how to get it on there. I'm dying to have it and dont' even like College Football as much as NFL. Anybody have any luck on the 360?

I try and separate myself from the gameplay. It honestly does some things better than Madden, but indeed is a step back.

However, its the same game I played for nearly 4 years after its release, and only went back to Madden in 18. I still have a soft spot for this game.

Did you follow the tutorial? I dont have a 360 copy to help, but if you need any help message me. I figured out the PS3 mods, took forever, but figured it out.

To be clear can I download this directly from my ps3 or do I need to download it to a zip drive and transfer it?

If you have a copy, yes, you essentially copy all the files from the disc to the hdd.

I used PS3Hen and Multiman mods. Worked like a charm, and wasn't too terribly difficult, just tedious.

It's a cool project, but I'm really hoping for some on the field improvements. That will really reinvigorate this game.

I got it to work a few nights ago, and I’m certainly not the most tech savvy person. I’m on PS3 and the thing that got me hung up was the hashtag alignment. I just eventually skipped it, renamed the file, and done. It’s takes a while to load up all the files. But, it’s totally worth it.

This was my favorite series by far and to be able play it with a fresh coat of paint, is amazing. They really cleaned it up too. The fields even look so much better, and detailed. I like the little touch they put on the pro stadium with the the faded pro hash marks. They even added the real advertisements around the stadium. This game already had pretty good lighting and transitional lighting to begin with for its age. With the new crisp look, it looks really amazing.

I was worried at first the new uniforms might not look as good of quality as the stock uniforms. Worry no more, they look absolutely fantastic! Even better than I imagined. In game, they almost look like it’s a generation ahead. Phenomenal work, I don’t know how they did it! Wait until you see what they did to Notre Dames helmet! Unbelievable, that was the biggest eyesore in the game; those ugly brown helmets. Notre Dames helmet/Uniforms look amazing. Heck, that’s worth the price of admission alone!

The new fonts/Logos ESPN scoreboard looks great, it refreshes the game so much it’s hard to describe until you jump into dynasty, see it all in action with recruiting, game updates, bottom line ticker. It incredible what those guys have done. I’m blown away, it’s like a new 7 year old game!

Thanks so much for your hard work... Eagerly awaiting the Big-10 release; Get this new Dynasty started.

I Double this..lots of work to set up, but once done, excellent work so far. Cannot wait to see big 10 and pac 12 updates..vikes roster with it also excellent.
