Official word from EA.

You will not be required to restart your franchise, when these updates arrive.

does work for non-cloud based saves, when you load it up it will patch the file. went to league settings to verify changes

Do we know if they also fixed being able to edit mouthpieces in an existing online franchises? Equipment Guru said it would be in the next patch.

Despite what Swami was saying I figured this might be the case.

I remember they have used the patch method in the past, and unfortunately many people ended up with corrupt saves.

That’s great news though, not just for us but for EA hah.

Look forward to cracking on with this tomorrow. Only had the game a week, so its all positives for me.

Plus being 1 ropey game into a Cards franchise (Murray had 4 picks) I can easily restart without too much pain

Now my question is... Did they fix formation subs not saving?

For the last couple weeks, any formation subs I make dont stay.
