FORMATION SUBS

Has anyone had issues with formation subs ? I tried moving a few guys around in there and it was not really working , I clicked on player I wanted to move but it wasnt responding ? tried several times any ideas ?

I've only been able to sub for HBs. It will not let me choose any other position. I believe this has been reported in the Bugs Thread.

Had the same problem. When you click on the guy you want to replace, you have to do that and then quickly select his replacement. Almost like a non stop kinda thing. Any slight pause in the process can kinda freeze it in a way to where it won't work. Sorry if this isn't being explained well enough, hard to really describe in text.

Might be a little off topic but i don't want to start a whole different thread... I noticed that RB's/WR's weren't rotating often enough when their stamina got low. I'm out of my hours and didn't want to use them to look into it... Is that a slider adjustment that I make within my CFM? I haven't used that for a few years and can't remember where to find it.

I believe there's an Auto-Sub tab that's located in the same coaching section as the formation subs. I haven't used it for years because i usually used formation subs to rotate my WR given them specific formations.

Hopefully they are aware of this and the day one patch will fix it. I would like to jump right in to my CFM and if formation subs aren't working it will suck.

Do not even bother with Auto subs. They simply do not work. Fatigue is nothing like it was (it all worked on Madden 16 LOL I know I know I keep bringing this game up.....but it is fact).

The formation sub menu is great.....but it is bugged on release here. I got update 1.03

I am not sure if that is the official release day patch. I am have no idea if they are aware of this bug yet.

Just report it on the bigs and glitches thread so they will address it.

Another fine example of lousy quality control for us Franchise players. It is not surprising at all.

Didn't they talk about how Madden Voice will be their way of getting feedback now? I remember them making a big deal about that but the forum is locked for M21. I guess the bug thread here will do.

I believe the auto sub should be the one that addresses this. Set your auto subs to determine how frequent your players get subbed in and out.

For me this is near game breaking. And worse let us this is a franchise only issue so we know it’s priority zero for these guys. Could be a while before it’s fixed

Ok there is a workaround but it's hard to explain!

When clicking on a formation and play (say Special teams then Field Goal) you have around a second whilst the players load up. Quickly find the player you want to sub and click A (on Xbox) which moves you to the players list. Providing you do that quickly before the screen has fully loaded you can sub players.

For example I always swap out my QB as holder on field goals and replace him with the Punter and I can still do it if I'm quick.
