    CAFs in ranked

As someone who was vehemently against this in the Undisputed series I think it's very important to give us the option to disable this entirely and on top of that to separate CAF leaderboards from stock roster leaderboards.

I don't care how "balanced" they are there's always some kind of cheese when it comes to CAFs. Don't let this ruin the game.

It's a completely joke. They should be separated.

An option to filter out CAFs just like you can filter weight classes is the perfect compromise and doesn’t seem very difficult logistically from an outsiders perspective

We had that option in the Undisputed series.

I really don't want scrubs scumming wins on the leaderboard though either.

It’s going to happen. So disappointed in the marketing for the casuals in this game. Ufc 4 - arcade edition

You can’t select weight classes in ranked anymore either

                          From the game informer article.

“This time around, rather than asking you which weight class you want to compete in, the division rotates, giving you a fresh roster of fighters to choose from.”

Wow they really ruined online ranked if that’s the case.

                              Re: CAFs in ranked

With the way it sounds the CAF system is going to work, it doesn't sound like cheese via CAF will be an issue at all.

They're essentially taking away the power of choosing the movesets and stats for the CAFs and giving you the option to choose from 12 presets. Because of this, it's literally not gonna be an issue to deal with CAFs. They're essentially just gonna be one of 12 reskins every time you fight them, and none of them will be OP. They will all be balanced.

I don't think there's any reason to worry here. In previous games where CAFs were involved, the issue was that players were purposely selecting their own moves and stats, and they'd do it in a way so that they'd have the cheesiest and most OP setup that was a nightmare to deal with. It doesn't sound like this will be the case at all for UFC 4.

I will agree that having CAFs in ranked is maybe a bit of a bummer in terms of immersion/realism, especially since they can wear goofy outfits. But as far as actual gameplay, balance, and competition, I don't think it will be an issue at all.
