I mod NHL mac only with wine/Cross Over. I can read db files with db editor. You should install at least .NET framework 4 and visual C redistributable on the wine/ cross over bottle. I recommend cross over, it easy to make bottle (win7/xp) and install libraries in application menu.Comment

I'll try to help you out for free. The game is expensive enough right now, I don't think you should have to pay money for some help to improve it
You have a few options. First, I could try to zip up the windows executable so it runs in Wine (https://www.winehq.org/). I have a mac so I can test that out for you
If that doesn't work you can always install Bootcamp. Windows 10 is free to use so there would be no cost. You'd just need to dedicate ~30-40 GB of your disk space to windows (or you could install it on a USB drive if you'd prefer, they're super cheap now for high capacity)
I'd offer to do make the changes for you, but I'm pretty sure that would require constant edits throughout your dynasty and I doubt you want to stop in the middle of a string of games and wait for someone on this forum to respond to you. I'll update you if using wine doesn't work so you can get started on installing bootcampComment

Any luck to the method below? want to try and download this for myself too. New to the world of downloading old PC games on to Macs and would love if somebody could teach me a few things
