NCAA Roster Project for The Show 20

With the awesome new features that we are getting this year in franchise mode, I would like to get a team together to change the 30 MLB teams into college teams.

I'm no expert in this area, but I will have lots of time to do rosters. I will need some help on all fronts, which is why I'm putting together a team.

If you are interested in helping, send me a DM and I can link you to the info on how we will discuss what we need to do, as well as keeping up with everything being done (not sure if I would be allowed to link the app we are using in here or not).

Really would like to get this out and rolling pretty quick, so the more help the better.

YOu could also add current mlb and minor leaguers to the roster that actually played at those schools. That would be cool.

Also, my big concern as a roster creator myself is that we won’t be able to share the created roster (with created teams and uniforms) in the vault since it’s relocation in franchise mode. I hope we can create the teams and uniforms outside of franchise mode so we’ll be able to share them and then start the franchise.

Adding every minor leaguer would be a lot of work. I'll see if I can get a big enough team to where that would be possible.

I didn't realize that sharing might not be an option. That would sure suck.

We are still looking for help. Right now the plans are to have correct names, positions, height, weight, new ratings and uniforms. Depending on the amount of help we get will determine if we do gear and really try to lock in on the looks of each player.

Even if you aren't interested in helping create the rosters, we are looking for knowledgeable individuals on some of the specific teams. We would like to get it as close to the real clubs as possible.

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest in here for these rosters, but just updating that they are coming along nicely. All of the pre-work has been completed. It is only a matter of getting the game now. I am expecting this to be finished within 2-3 weeks after release.


The rosters will include full 35 man baseball rosters with correct names, weights, heights, batting/throwing hands. Also will be adjusting age, and I have a ratings system set up to rate players correctly, without bias. We will also be doing uniforms, as long as it's possible to share.

It should be a pretty easy fix to add Illinois into the game, once the rosters are complete.

I wish we could have got more teams in, but it's just not possible. I attempted to get a nice mix of currently good and historically good teams.

I tell you what though. If we run into any issues with any of the teams, I'll go ahead and put Illinois in.

Are we positive that we're able to share these custom rosters with their actual college uniforms in the vault? It would be a bummer if its franchise relocation strictly in franchise mode and no sharing with actual uniforms. So far in the streams I see nothing that proves we can share them.

I am not, but worse case scenario is that users would just have to go and add the uniforms themselves.

Anyone able to check into this and confirm?


Also, quick update. UCLA, USC, Arizona St, Oregon St and Stanford have been completed. One division down, five more to go.

Quick update for everybody else.

Nearly 50% of the rosters are completely done. If this pace continues, then it is possible that all roster editing will be done by Tuesday, on normal release day. After done, it will just be getting the college players onto the MLB teams, as well as setting line ups, which shouldn't take very long.

Unfortunately anybody who wants to use this roster will have to do a little work themselves. We do not have the ability to upload rosters into the vault to use for every team. That is something we planned on doing, but can not. The bright side of that though, is that rosters will reach everyone quicker.

I’m not sure that you can share uniforms. I don’t think you can. I’ve started an NCAA league with Bacons Fictional roster from ported over from 19. I then rebranded every team before the season starts. Since it doesn’t matter if the roster matches the right team I can just find logos in the vault instead of making them.

Ive found teams like Temple, Texas, LSU, FSU, FLA, UNC, DUKE, MD, MICH, MIZZOU, and more. I just have to make the jerseys. I feel like this will be a lot easier because you’ll have to make logos for half the teams you’re making as there aren’t any in the vaults for teams like USC or Long Beach St. for example.
