Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
Just played a career game where i had 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks. But my OVR goes DOWN? We blew out the Warriors by 25 so i simmed to end in the 4th and i LOSE overall?Tags: None -

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
I had an A+ teammate grade. No turn overs. Only problem was i didn't score 30 points. I shot 70% and hit 2 threes. If im playing a role, i shouldnt be penalized. KP was the 30 point scorer.Comment

If it wasn't fluid, it'd just take longer to 95ovr. *♂️PSN: KarlMarx24Comment

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
So last night we played some Rec and i was PG. My first game i had 12 points and 19 assists. I was a 98.4 before the game. I received a 99.0 rating but somehow went down to 98.0. Then the next game i had another 19 assists but only had 4 points because my match up quit the game early and i couldn't drive past my man. 3rd game we lost by 2 points but i had 16 points and 10 assists with a couple steals, automatic 95, lost more OVR.
Played one more and we dominated but I'm still a 97.
So i win 3/4 games with 10 assists every game, doing my job but i lose OVR. Such a dumb concept.
I'm a defensive PG and none of my match ups scored 20 points. That doesn't count?Comment

Do i have to score 50?!

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
Hahahahaha.. first sorry for laughing.
Second they brought something back from the old 2k. The very first my player version. It was called "24/7 Mode" on 2K5 (I think). You could boosted playing. But if you took a break for a few days. Your overall rating would drop. Which I think is fair. Someone who is working harder than you playing more. Should keep his ratings. While if someone actually had a life. Should suffer a little bit. Just my opinion lol.

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
i literally just dropped 19 points, 11 assist and 8 rebounds...and still got a 99.9 performance and went up from a 98.8 to a 99.0...
how much points did the man you were guarding have?
i’m telling you that plays a big part manComment

i’m sorry but i need to see proof cause it’s no way your dropping overall points putting up good numbers, getting an A+ team mate grade and winning the game.

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
For mycareer, difficulty level matters considerably. Turnovers, bad fouls and defensive breakdowns are worse than the positives you get from other stats.
Probably the most annoying game I ever had was a rec game where I went 13-15 for 36 points, 6 assists, 4 steals, 4 rebounds, 1 foul and zero turnovers, held my man to two points and got a 99.4Comment

Re: Losing your OVR was a terrible idea.
now that i can agree on. you go up a .2 points even for a 99.9 performance but get a 95.0 performance and you drop drastically. has to be some balance.Comment
